¹⁰ When he shall come to be glorified in his saints and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.

²³ There is no soothsaying in Jacob, nor divination in Israel. In their times it shall be told to Jacob and to Israel what God hath wrought.

²² Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?

³⁶ But of that day and hour no one knoweth: no, not the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.

³¹ And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty.

¹² I say to you, it shall be more tolerable at that day for Sodom than for that city.

⁴ And Jesus hearing it, said to them: This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God: that the Son of God may be glorified by it.

¹⁰ And all my things are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.

⁶ As the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,

¹³ Every man's work shall be manifest. For the day of the Lord shall declare it, because it shall be revealed in fire. And the fire shall try every man's work, of what sort it is.

²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁶ Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us, in his beloved son.

¹² That we may be unto the praise of his glory: we who before hoped in Christ:

¹⁴ Who is the pledge of our inheritance, unto the redemption of acquisition, unto the praise of his glory.

¹⁸ The eyes of your heart enlightened that you may know what the hope is of his calling and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

⁷ That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church,

¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened by his Spirit with might unto the inward man:

⁵ For our gospel hath not been unto you in word only, but in power also: and in the Holy Ghost and in much fulness, as you know what manner of men we have been among you for your sakes.

¹ For yourselves know, brethren, our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:

¹³ Therefore, we also give thanks to God without ceasing: because, that when you had received of us the word of the hearing of God, you received it not as the word of men, but (as it is indeed) the word of God, who worketh in you that have believed.

¹² That the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

^{13 (2:12)} But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit and faith of the truth:

¹² For which cause, I also suffer these things: but I am not ashamed. For I know whom I have believed and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him, against that day.

¹⁸ The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day. And in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou very well knowest.

⁸ As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming. Make haste to come to me quickly.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

¹¹ And all the angels stood round about the throne and the ancients and the four living creatures. And they fell down before the throne upon their faces and adored God, ¹² Saying: Amen. Benediction and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving, honour and power and strength, to our God, for ever and ever. Amen.
