¹⁷ For he received from God the Father honour and glory, this voice coming down to him from the excellent glory: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye him.

¹ Behold my servant, I will uphold him: my elect, my soul delighteth in him: I have given my spirit upon him, he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

¹⁰ And the Lord was pleased to bruise him in infirmity: if he shall lay down his life for sin, he shall see a longlived seed, and the will of the Lord shall be prosperous in his hand.

¹⁷ And behold a voice from heaven saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁸ Philip saith to him: Lord, shew us the Father; and it is enough for us. ⁹ Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou: Shew us the Father?

¹¹ Believe you not that I am in the Father and the Father in me?

²¹ That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

¹⁷ Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me: for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and to your God.

⁶ That with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort:

³¹ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever, knoweth that I lie not.

³ Grace be with you, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Christ Jesus the Son of the Father: in truth and charity.
