^{14 (89:15)} Justice and judgment are the preparation of thy throne. Mercy and truth shall go before thy face:

⁷ His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace: he shall sit upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom; to establish it and strengthen it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth and for ever: the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

¹ Behold a king shall reign in justice, and princes shall rule in judgment. ² And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm, as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.

¹⁵ Shalt thou reign, because thou comparest thyself to the cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and it was then well with him?

⁵ Behold the days come, saith the Lord, and I will raise up to David a just branch: and a king shall reign, and shall be wise: and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. ⁶ In those days shall Juda be saved, and Israel shall dwell confidently: and this is the name that they shall call him: The Lord our just one.

¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, I will make the bud of justice to spring forth unto David, and he shall do judgment and justice in the earth.
