Romans 11:2 Cross References - Darby

² God has not cast away his people whom he foreknew. Know ye not what the scripture says in [the history of] Elias, how he pleads with God against Israel?

¹⁵ And Joseph said to them, What deed is this which ye have done? Did ye not know that such a man as I can certainly divine?

¹ And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people collected together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us a god, who will go before us; for this Moses, the man that has brought us up out of the land of Egypt, -- we do not know what is become of him!

¹⁵ Then Moses was very wroth, and said to Jehovah, Have no regard to their oblation: not one ass have I taken from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

³⁰ And many years didst thou forbear with them, and testifiedst against them by thy Spirit through thy prophets; but they would not give ear: and thou gavest them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

¹⁴ For Jehovah will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;

¹⁹ Jehovah, give heed to me, and listen to the voice of those that contend with me. ²⁰ Shall evil be recompensed for good? For they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before thee to speak good for them, to turn away thy wrath from them. ²¹ Therefore give up their children to the famine, and deliver them over to the power of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of children and be widows; and let their men be swept off by death, their young men be smitten by the sword in battle. ²² Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them; for they have digged a pit to take me, and have hidden snares for my feet. ²³ And thou, Jehovah, knowest all their counsel against me to slay me. Forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee: deal with them in the time of thine anger.

¹ But Jesus, full of [the] Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness

¹ When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus makes and baptises more disciples than John ² (however, Jesus himself did not baptise, but his disciples), ³ he left Judaea and went away again unto Galilee.

¹¹ The woman says to him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: whence then hast thou the living water?

¹⁷ And now, brethren, I know that ye did it in ignorance, as also your rulers;

⁴⁰ saying to Aaron, Make us gods who shall go before us; for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what has happened to him.

⁴⁸ And [those of] the nations, hearing it, rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord, and believed, as many as were ordained to eternal life.

¹⁸ known from eternity.

²⁹ Because whom he has foreknown, he has also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be [the] firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ But whom he has predestinated, these also he has called; and whom he has called, these also he has justified; but whom he has justified, these also he has glorified.

⁶ Not however as though the word of God had failed; for not all [are] Israel which [are] of Israel;

²³ and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory,

² Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of [the] smallest judgments?

²² but if to live in flesh [is my lot], this is for me worth the while: and what I shall choose I cannot tell.

¹ God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets, ² elect according to [the] foreknowledge of God [the] Father, by sanctification of [the] Spirit, unto [the] obedience and sprinkling of [the] blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
