²⁰ Jehovah hath rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

¹¹ And see, my father, yes, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand. For in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou liest in wait for my life to take it. ¹² Jehovah judge between me and thee, and Jehovah avenge me of thee; but my hand shall not be upon thee. ¹³ As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked; but my hand shall not be upon thee.

¹⁷ And he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I; for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded thee evil.

¹⁹ For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore Jehovah reward thee good for that thou hast done to me this day. ²⁰ And now behold, I know that thou shalt certainly be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thy hand.

³⁰ [Even] him that is not innocent shall he deliver; yea, he shall be delivered by the pureness of thy hands.

³ Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;

⁸ Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.

²⁴ And Jehovah hath recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

⁴ He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully:

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

¹¹ And men shall say, Verily there is fruit for the righteous; verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.

¹⁸ The wicked worketh a deceitful work; but he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.

⁴ -- And I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and in vain; nevertheless my judgment is with Jehovah, and my work with my God.

¹¹ Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

⁴ so that thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father who sees in secret will render [it] to thee.

⁸ But the planter and the waterer are one; but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, harmless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and become higher than the heavens:
