⁵ A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

⁷ They go from strength to strength: [each one] will appear before God in Zion.

¹⁴ Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am intelligence; I have strength.

²⁹ The way of Jehovah is strength to the perfect [man], but destruction to the workers of iniquity.

²² A wise [man] scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

¹⁹ Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty [men] that are in a city.

¹⁴ There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and encompassed it, and built great bulwarks against it: ¹⁵ and there was found in it a poor wise man, who by his wisdom delivered the city; but no man remembered that poor man. ¹⁶ Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength; but the poor man`s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard. ¹⁷ The words of the wise are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools. ¹⁸ Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroyeth much good.

³¹ but they that wait upon Jehovah shall renew [their] strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not tire; they shall walk, and not faint.
