⁴⁹ And, stretching out his hand to his disciples, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren;

⁷ And go quickly and say to his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goes before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him. Behold, I have told you.

³⁴ And looking around in a circuit at those that were sitting around him, he says, Behold my mother and my brethren:

⁸ for the words which thou hast given me I have given them, and they have received [them], and have known truly that I came out from thee, and have believed that thou sentest me. ⁹ I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,

²⁰ And I do not demand for these only, but also for those who believe on me through their word;

¹⁷ Jesus says to her, Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and [to] my God and your God. ¹⁸ Mary of Magdala comes bringing word to the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and [that] he had said these things to her. ¹⁹ When therefore it was evening on that day, which was the first [day] of the week, and the doors shut where the disciples were, through fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and says to them, Peace [be] to you. ²⁰ And having said this, he shewed to them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced therefore, having seen the Lord.
