¹² He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

⁶ And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it be a division between waters and waters. ⁷ And God made the expanse, and divided between the waters that are under the expanse and the waters that are above the expanse; and it was so. ⁸ And God called the expanse Heavens. And there was evening, and there was morning -- a second day. ⁹ And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place, and let the dry [land] appear. And it was so.

⁸ Who alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the high waves of the sea;

⁷ He stretcheth out the north over empty space, he hangeth the earth upon nothing;

⁴ Where wast thou when I founded the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. ⁵ Who set the measures thereof -- if thou knowest? or who stretched a line upon it? ⁶ Whereupon were the foundations thereof sunken? or who laid its corner-stone, ⁷ When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

² For it was he that founded it upon seas, and established it upon floods.

⁶ By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

⁶⁹ And he built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he hath founded for ever.

¹ Jehovah reigneth, he hath clothed himself with majesty: Jehovah hath clothed himself, he hath girded himself with strength; yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved.

² Covering thyself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent-curtain; --

²⁴ How manifold are thy works, O Jehovah! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

⁹⁰ Thy faithfulness is from generation to generation: thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

⁵ To him that by understanding made the heavens, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever; ⁶ To him that stretched out the earth above the waters, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;

⁵ Blessed is he who hath the ?God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God, ⁶ Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;

⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for he it is that commanded, and they were created:

¹⁹ Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens.

⁴ Who hath ascended up into the heavens, and descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a mantle? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son`s name, if thou knowest?

²² [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a gauze curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;

⁵ Thus saith ?God, Jehovah, he that created the heavens and stretched them out, he that spread forth the earth and its productions, he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

²⁴ Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I [am] Jehovah, the maker of all things; who alone stretched out the heavens, who did spread forth the earth by myself;

¹² It is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

¹⁸ For thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, -- not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: -- I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else.

¹³ Yea, my hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spread abroad the heavens: I call unto them, they stand up together.

⁸ Thus saith Jehovah: In a time of acceptance have I answered thee, and in the day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the land, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

¹³ When he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the end of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries.

¹⁷ Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and stretched-out arm; there is nothing too hard for thee:

¹⁵ He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his understanding. ¹⁶ When he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the end of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. ¹⁷ Every man is become brutish, so as to have no knowledge; every founder is put to shame by the graven image, for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. ¹⁸ They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. ¹⁹ The portion of Jacob is not like them; for it is he that hath formed all things: and [Israel] is the rod of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

¹ The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. [Thus] saith Jehovah, who stretcheth out the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:

³ All things received being through him, and without him not one [thing] received being which has received being.

¹⁶ because by him were created all things, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or principalities, or authorities: all things have been created by him and for him.
