²⁴ For the Christ is not entered into holy places made with hand, figures of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:

¹² And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod [as] stones of memorial for the children of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before Jehovah upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

²⁹ And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the sanctuary, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.

¹⁸ Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even [for] the rebellious, for the dwelling [there] of Jah Elohim.

¹ And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

⁵⁸ *We* heard him saying, *I* will destroy this temple which is made with hands, and in the course of three days I will build another not made with hands.

¹⁹ The Lord therefore, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.

⁵¹ And it came to pass as he was blessing them, he was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.

¹⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. ²⁰ The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple building, and thou wilt raise it up in three days? ²¹ But *he* spoke of the temple of his body.

⁶² If then ye see the Son of man ascending up where he was before?

²⁸ I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

⁹ And having said these things he was taken up, they beholding [him], and a cloud received him out of their sight. ¹⁰ And as they were gazing into heaven, as he was going, behold, also two men stood by them in white clothing, ¹¹ who also said, Men of Galilee, why do ye stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall thus come in the manner in which ye have beheld him going into heaven.

²¹ whom heaven indeed must receive till [the] times of [the] restoring of all things, of which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since time began.

³³ Who shall bring an accusation against God`s elect? [It is] God who justifies:

²⁰ [in] which he wrought in the Christ [in] raising him from among [the] dead, and he set him down at his right hand in the heavenlies, ²¹ above every principality, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in that to come; ²² and has put all things under his feet, and gave him [to be] head over all things to the assembly,

⁸ Wherefore he says, Having ascended up on high, he has led captivity captive, and has given gifts to men. ⁹ But that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended is the same who has also ascended up above all the heavens, that he might fill all things; ¹¹ and *he* has given some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers,

² have your mind on the things [that are] above, not on the things [that are] on the earth;

³ who being [the] effulgence of his glory and [the] expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,

²⁰ where Jesus is entered as forerunner for us, become for ever a high priest according to the order of Melchisedec.

²⁵ Whence also he is able to save completely those who approach by him to God, always living to intercede for them. ²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, harmless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and become higher than the heavens:

² minister of the holy places and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord has pitched, [and] not man.

⁵ (who serve the representation and shadow of heavenly things, according as Moses was oracularly told [when] about to make the tabernacle; for See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern which has been shewn to thee in the mountain.)

⁹ the which [is] an image for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices, unable to perfect as to conscience him that worshipped, are offered,

¹¹ But Christ being come high priest of the good things to come, by the better and more perfect tabernacle not made with hand, (that is, not of this creation,) ¹² nor by blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, has entered in once for all into the [holy of] holies, having found an eternal redemption.

²³ [It was] necessary then that the figurative representations of the things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with sacrifices better than these.

² looking stedfastly on Jesus the leader and completer of faith: who, in view of the joy lying before him, endured [the] cross, having despised [the] shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

²² who is at [the] right hand of God, gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to him.

¹ My children, these things I write to you in order that ye may not sin; and if any one sin, we have a patron with the Father, Jesus Christ [the] righteous; ² and *he* is the propitiation for our sins; but not for ours alone, but also for the whole world.

³ And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might give [efficacy] to the prayers of all saints at the golden altar which [was] before the throne.
