²¹ I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness [is] by law, then Christ has died for nothing.

¹⁰ Jehovah frustrateth the counsel of the nations; he maketh the thoughts of the peoples of none effect.

⁴ -- And I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and in vain; nevertheless my judgment is with Jehovah, and my work with my God.

⁸ How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? Behold, certainly the lying pen of the scribes hath made it falsehood.

⁹ And he said to them, Well do ye set aside the commandment of God, that ye may observe what is delivered by yourselves [to keep].

³¹ What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who against us?

³ For they, being ignorant of God`s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own [righteousness], have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

⁶ But if by grace, no longer of works: since [otherwise] grace is no more grace.

² by which also ye are saved, (if ye hold fast the word which I announced to you as the glad tidings,) unless indeed ye have believed in vain.

¹⁴ but if Christ is not raised, then, indeed, vain also [is] our preaching, and vain also your faith.

¹⁷ but if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.

¹⁶ but knowing that a man is not justified on the principle of works of law [nor] but by the faith of Jesus Christ, *we* also have believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified on the principle of [the] faith of Christ; and not of works of law; because on the principle of works of law no flesh shall be justified.

¹⁸ For if the things I have thrown down, these I build again, I constitute myself a transgressor.

²¹ [Is] then the law against the promises of God? Far be the thought. For if a law had been given able to quicken, then indeed righteousness were on the principle of law;

² Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. ³ And I witness again to every man [who is] circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law. ⁴ Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.

¹¹ If indeed then perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, for the people had their law given to them in connexion with *it*, what need [was there] still that a different priest should arise according to the order of Melchisedec, and not be named after the order of Aaron?
