²⁷ But I know thine abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, And thy raging against me.

⁶ Blessed shalt thou be in thy coming in, and blessed shalt thou be in thy going out.

¹⁹ Cursed shalt thou be in thy coming in, and cursed shalt thou be in thy going out.

⁸ Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth and for evermore.

A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me]. ² *Thou* knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off; ³ Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways; ⁴ For there is not yet a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether. ⁵ Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me. ⁶ O knowledge too wonderful for me! it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it. ⁷ Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither flee from thy presence? ⁸ If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou [art there]; ⁹ [If] I take the wings of the dawn [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, ¹⁰ Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. ¹¹ And if I say, Surely darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night;

²⁸ But I know thine abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against me. ²⁹ Because thy raging against me and thine arrogance is come up into mine ears, I will put my ring in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will make thee go back by the way by which thou camest.

²³ Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off? ²⁴ Can any hide himself in secret places, that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? saith Jehovah.
