²⁰ Sela. The God yt is or Sauior, eue God the LORDE by who we escape death.

³⁹ Se now that I I am, and that there is none other God but I.I can kyll and make alyue: what I haue smytten, that can I heale: and there is noman able to delyuer out of my hande.

⁶ The Lorde slayeth, and geueth life: he ledeth vnto hell, and bryngeth out agayne.

¹³ For thou hast delyuered my soule fro death, & my fete fro fallinge, yt I maye walke before God in ye light of ye lyuynge.

¹⁷ I wil not dye, but lyue, and declare the workes of the LORDE. ¹⁸ The LORDE hath chastened & correcte me, but he hath not geuen me ouer vnto death.

²³ Kepe thine hert with all diligence, for there vpon hangeth life.

² Beholde, God is my health, in whom I trust, and am not afrayde. For the LORDE God is my strength, and my prayse, he also shalbe my refuge.

¹⁷ But Israel shalbe saued in the LORDE, which is the euerlastinge saluacio: They shal not come to shame ner confucion, worlde without ende. ¹⁸ For thus sayeth the LORDE: euen he that created heauen, the God yt made the earth, that fashioned it, and set it forth: I haue not made it for naught, but I made it to be enhabited: Euen I the LORDE, without whom there is none other. ¹⁹ I haue not spoken secretly, nether in darcke places of the earth. I am the LORDE, which whe I speake, declare the thinge that is rightuous and true. ²⁰ Let the be gathered & come together, let the drawe nye hyther, yt are escaped of the people: Haue they eny vnderstondinge, that set vp the stockes of their Idols, and praye vnto a god, that ca not helpe the? ²¹ Let men drawe nye, let them come hither, ad aske councel one at another, and shewe forth: What is he, that tolde this before? or, who spake of it, euer sence the begynnynge? Haue not I ye LORDE done it: without whom there is none other God? the true God and sauioure, and there is els none but I? ²² And therfore turne you vnto me (all ye endes of the earth) so shal ye be saued, for I am God, & there is els none.

⁷ Neuerthelesse I wil haue mercy vpon the house of Iuda, & wil saue them, euen thorow the LORDE their God. But I wil not delyuer them thorow eny bow, swearde, batel, horses or horsmen.

²² Ye wote not what ye worshippe, but we knowe what ye worshippe, for Saluacion commeth of the Iewes.

²¹ For as the father rayseth vp the deed, and maketh them lyue, eue so the sonne also maketh lyuynge whom he wyll.

²³ that they all might honoure the sonne, euen as they honoure ye father. Who so honoureth not the sonne, the same honoureth not the father, which hath sent him.

²⁸ Maruayle not ye at this: for ye houre cometh, in ye which all that are in ye graues, shal heare his voyce, ²⁹ and shal go forth, they that haue done good, vnto the resurreccion of life: but they that haue done euell, vnto the resurreccion of damnacion.

²⁵ Iesus saide vnto her: I am the resurreccion & the life He yt beleueth on me, shal lyue, though he were deed allready: ²⁶ & whosoeuer lyueth and beleueth on me, shal neuer dye. Beleuest thou this?

¹⁴ For as moch then as the children haue flesh and bloude. he also himselfe likewyse toke parte with them, yt he thorow death, mighte take awaye ye power of him, which had lordshippe ouer death, that is to saye, ye deuell: ¹⁵ & that he mighte delyuer the which thorow feare of death were all their life tyme in dauger of bodage.

¹⁸ and am alyue, and was deed. And beholde, I am alyue for euer more and haue the kayes of hell & of deth.

¹ And I sawe an angell come downe from heauen, hauinge the keye of the bottomlesse pyt, and a gret chayne in his honde.
