¹ Like as the hert desyreth the water brokes, so longeth my soule after the, o God. My soule is a thurste for God, yee eue for the lyuynge God: wha shal I come, & beholde the face of God?

³³ And these are they yt stode & their children. Of ye children of Kahath was Heman ye synger, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Samuel, ³⁴ the sonne of Elkana, the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Thoah, ³⁵ the sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkana, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai, ³⁶ the sonne of Elkana, the sonne of Iohel, the sonne of Asaria, the sonne of Sophonias, ³⁷ the sonne of Thahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Abijasaph, the sonne of Corah,

¹ And Dauid with the chefe captaynes sundered to the offices amonge ye childre of Assaph, Heman & Iedithun ye prophetes with harpes, psalteries & Cymbales, and they were nombred vnto the worke acordynge to their offyce. ² Amonge the childre of Assaph was Sakur, Ioseph, Nethania, Asarela, childre of Assaph vnder Assaph which prophecyed besyde ye kynge. ³ Of Iedithun: The children of Iedithun were, Gedalia, Zori, Iesaia, Hasabia, Mathithia (Simei) these sixe vnder their father Iedithun wt harpes, whose prophecienge was to geue thankes and to praise the LORDE. ⁴ Of Heman: The children of Heman were Bukia, Mathania, Vsiel, Sebuel, Ierimoth, Hanania, Hanani, Eliatha, Gilthi, Romamthieser, Ia?baksa, Mallochi, Hothir and Mehesioth. ⁵ All these were the children of Hema the kynges Seer in the wordes of God to lyfte vp the horne: for God gaue Heman fourtene sonnes & thre daughters.

¹ We haue herde with or eares (o God) or fathers haue tolde vs, what thou hast done in their tyme, of olde.

¹ My hert is dytinge of a good matter, I speake of that, which I haue made of the kynge:

¹ In oure troubles and aduersite, we haue founde, that God is oure refuge, oure strength and helpe.

¹ O clappe youre hodes together (all ye people) O synge vnto God with the voyce of thakesgeuynge.

¹ Greate is ye LORDE & hyelie to be praysed, in ye cite of or God, eue vpo his holy hill.

¹ O heare this, all ye people: pondre it well, all ye that dwell vpo the earth.

¹ O God, thou art my God: early wil I seke the. ² My soule thursteth for the, my flesh longeth after the in a bare & drie lode, where no water is.

⁶ I stretch forth my hondes vnto the, my soule crieth vnto the out of the thyrstie londe. ⁷ Sela. Heare me (o LORDE) and that soone, for my sprete waxeth faynte: hyde not yi face fro me, lest I be like vnto the that go downe in to the graue.

⁸ Therfore (LORDE) we haue a respecte vnto the waye of thy iudgmentes, thy name and thy remebraunce reioyse the soule. ⁹ My soule lusteth after the all the night loge, & my mynde haisteth frely to the. For as soone as thy iudgment is knowne to the worlde, the the inhabitours of the earth lerne rightuousnesse.
