¹⁸ Shewe thy seruaunt the light of thy countenaunce, helpe me for thy mercies sake.

³ Let go yor greate boostinge of hye thynges, let go out of youre mouth that olde byworde: for the LORDE is a God yt knoweth all thinges, & he hath set all workes in order.

¹⁶ His seruautes also spake yet more against the LORDE God, and agaynst his seruaunt Ezechias.

³ O that the LORDE wolde rote out all disceatfull lippes, ad the tonge that speaketh proude thinges.

¹² For ye synne of their mouth, for the wordes of their lippes, & because of their pryde, let the be taken: & why? their preachinge is of cursynge & lyes.

¹¹ They shal fall in to the swerde, & be a porcio for foxes. But ye kynge shal reioyse in God: all they that sweare by hym, shal be commeded, for the mouth of lyers shalbe stopped.

³ Which whette their tuges like a swerde, & shute wt their venimous wordes like as wt arowes. ⁴ That they maye preuely hurte ye innocet, & sodely to hit him wt out eny feare.

⁴ How longe shal all wicked doers speake so di?daynedly, and make soch proude boastynge?

² Delyuer my soule (o LORDE) fro lyenge lippes, & fro a disceatfull toge.

³ Haue mercy vpo vs (o LORDE) haue mercy vpon vs, for we are vtterly despysed. ⁴ Oure soule is fylled wt the scornefull reprofe of the welthy, & with ye despitefulnesse of the proude.

⁹ Sela. Let the myschefe of their owne lippes fall vpon ye head of the, yt copase me aboute. ¹⁰ Let hote burnynge coales fall vpo the, let the be cast in to the fyre, and in to the pytt, that they neuer ryse vp agayne. ¹¹ A man full of wordes shal not prospere vpon earth: a malicious & wicked person shal be hunted awaye and destroyed.

¹⁹ A true mouth is euer constat, but a dyssemblinge toge is soone chaunged.

²² this is the answere, that the LORDE hath geuen concernynge him: Despised art thou, & mocked (o doughter of Sion) he hath shaken his heade at the, o doughter of Ierusalem. ²³ But thou Sennacherib, whom hast thou defied or blaspemed? And agaynst who hast thou lifted vp thy voyce, & exalted thy proude lokes? euen agaynst the holy one of Israel. ²⁴ Thou with thy seruauntes hast blasphemed the LORDE, and thus holdest thou of thyself: I couer the hie mountaynes, & sydes of Libanus with my horsmen. And there wil I cut downe the hie Cedre trees & the fayrest Fyrre trees. I will vp in to the heyth of it & in to the chefest of his timbre woddes.

¹⁷ but all the weapens yt are made agaynst the, shal not prospere. And as for all tunges, yt shal resiste the in iudgmet, thou shalt ouercome the, & codemne them. This is the heretage of the LORDES seruauntes, & the rightuousnes that they shal haue of me, saieth the LORDE.

²⁵ It is ynough for the disciple, to be as his master, and the seruaunt as his LORDE. Yf they haue called the good ma of the house Beelzebub, how moch more shal they call them of his housholde so?

²⁴ But whan the Pharises herde that, they sayde: He dryueth the deuyls out none other wyse, but thorow Beelzebub the chefe of the deuyls.

⁴⁴ Ye are of the father the deuell, and after the lustes of youre father wyl ye do. The same was a murthurer from the begynnynge, and abode not in the trueth: for the trueth is not in him. Whan he speaketh a lye, then speaketh he of his awne: for he is a lyar, and a father of the same.

⁴⁸ Then answered the Iewes, and sayde vnto him: Saye we not right, that thou art a Samaritane, and hast the deuell?

⁷ Whan he was come, ye Iewes which were come downe from Ierusalem, stode rounde aboute him, and broughte vp many and greuous quarels agaynst Paul, which they coulde not proue,

¹⁵ to geue iudgemet agaynst all men, and to rebuke all that are vngodly amonge the, of all their vngodly dedes, which they haue vngodly committed, and of all their cruell speakynges, which vngodly synners haue spoken agaynst him.

⁸ But the fearefull and vnbeleuynge, and the abhominable, and murthurers, and whormongers, and sorcerers, and ydolaters, & all lyars, shal haue their parte in the lake, that burneth with fyre and brymstone, which is the seconde death.

¹⁵ For without are dogges and inchaunters and whormongers, and mortherers, and ydolaters, and whosoeuer loueth or maketh lesinges.
