¹⁵ The woman sayde vnto him: Syr, geue me that same water, that I thyrst not, nether nede to come hither to drawe.

⁶ There be many yt saye: who wil do vs eny good? where as thou (o LORDE) hast shewed vs the light of yi countenauce.

²⁶ Iesus answered the, & sayde: Verely verely I saye vnto you: Ye seke me not because ye sawe ye tokes, but because ye ate of the loaues, and were fylled.

³⁴ The sayde they vnto him: Syr, geue vs allwaye soch bred.

² Like as thou hast geuen him power ouer all fleshe, that he shulde geue euerlastinge life to as many as thou hast geuen him. ³ But this is the life euerlastinge, that they knowe the (that thou onely art the true God) and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ.

²³ For death is the rewarde of synne, but the gifte of God is euerlastinge life.

⁵ For they that are fleshly, are fleshly mynded: but they that are goostly, are goostly mynded.

¹⁴ Howbeit the naturall man perceaueth nothinge of ye sprete of God. It is foolishnes vnto him, and he can not perceaue it: for it must be spiritually discerned.

³ Ye axe & receaue not because ye axe amysse: eue to cosume it vpo yor voluptuousnes.

²⁰ But we knowe, that the sonne of God is come, and hath geuen vs a mynde, to knowe him which is true: and we are in him yt is true, in his sonne Iesu Christ. This is the true God, and euerlastinge life.
