¹⁶ For in so moch as he is God, he maketh my herte soft: and seynge that he is Allmightie, he putteth me in feare.

³ and saye vnto the: Heare Israel: Ye go this daye in to the battayll agaynst youre enemies, let not yor hert faynte. Feare not, be not afrayed, ner a drede of them.

²⁰ Neuerthelesse she sayde vnto them: call me not Naemi, but Mara: for the Allmightie hath made me very sory.

² As truly as God lyueth (which hath taken awaye my power fro me) & the Allmightie, that hath vexed my mynde:

¹⁴ I am poured out like water, all my bones are out of ioynt: my hert in the myddest off my body is euen like meltinge waxe.

¹⁶ Thy wroth full displeasure goeth ouer me, the feare of the oppresseth me.

⁵ Then I sayde: O wo is me. For I was astonished: that I (which am a man of vnclene lippes, and dwell amonge people yt hath vnclene lippes also:) Shulde se ye Kynge and LORDE of hoostes with myne eyes.

¹⁶ For I chide not euer, & am not wroth wt out ende. But ye blastinge goeth fro me, though I make the breath.

⁴⁶ Be not faynte herted, & feare not at euery rumoure that shalbe herde in the londe: for euery yeare bringeth new tydinges, yee straunge wickednes and lordshipe.

¹⁵ alas, alas for this daye. And why? the daye of the LORDE is at honde, and commeth as a destroyer from the Allmightie.
