¹⁵ & that he mighte delyuer the which thorow feare of death were all their life tyme in dauger of bodage.

¹¹ Fearfulnesse shal make him afrayed on euery syde, that he shall not knowe, where to get out.

¹⁴ All his comforte and hope shalbe roted out of his dwellynge, very fearfulnesse shall brynge him to the kynge.

¹⁷ For as soone as the daye breaketh, the shadowe of death commeth vpo them, and they go in horrible darcknesse.

²¹ In so moch, that his body is clene consumed awaye, & his bones appeare nomore. ²² His soule draweth on to destruccion, & his life to death. ²³ Now yf there be an angel (one amonge a thousande) sent for to speake vnto ma, and to shewe him the right waye: ²⁴ the the LORDE is mercifull vnto him, & sayeth: He shalbe delyuered, yt he fall not downe to destruccion, for I am sufficiently recociled. ²⁵ Than his flesh (which hath bene in misery & trouble) shalbe, as it was in his youth. ²⁶ For yf he submitte himself vnto God, he is gracious, & sheweth him his countenaunce ioyfully, & rewardeth man for his rightuousnes. ²⁷ Soch a respecte hath he vnto me. Therfore let a man cofesse, (& saye:) I offended, but he hath chastened & refourmed me: I dyd vnrightuously, neuerthelesse he hath not recopensed me therafter. ²⁸ Yee he hath delyuered my soule from destruccion, & my life, that it seyth ye light.

¹⁹ That he maye delyuer their soules from death, and to fede them in the deare tyme.

⁴ Fearfullnesse and tremblinge are come vpon me, and an horrible drede hath ouerwhelmed me.

¹³ For thou hast delyuered my soule fro death, & my fete fro fallinge, yt I maye walke before God in ye light of ye lyuynge.

¹⁹ O how sodenly do they consume, perish, & come to a fearfull ende?

⁴⁸ O remembre how shorte my tyme is, hast thou made all men for naught?

⁷⁴ for to geue vs.That we delyuered out of ye hade of or enemies, might serue him without feare ⁷⁵ all the dayes of oure life, in soch holynes and righteousnes as is accepte before him.

¹⁵ are Gods childre: for ye haue not receaued the sprete of bondage to feare eny more, but ye haue receaued ye sprete of adopcion, wherby we crye: Abba, deare father.

²¹ For the creature also shal be fre from the bondage of corrupcion, vnto the glorious libertye of the childre of God.

⁵⁰ This I saye brethren, that flesh & bloude can not inheret ye kyngdome of God: nether shal corrupcion inheret vncorrupcion. ⁵¹ Beholde, I saye vnto you a mystery: We shal not all slepe, but we shall all be chaunged, ⁵² and that sodenly and in the twinklynge of an eye, at the tyme of the last trompe. For the trompe shal blowe, and the deed shal ryse vncorruptible, and we shalbe chaunged. ⁵³ For this corruptible must put on vncorrupcion, and this mortall must put on immortalite. ⁵⁴ But whan this corruptible shal put on vncorrupcion, and this mortall shal put on immortalite, the shal the worde be fulfylled that is wrytte: ⁵⁵ Death is swalowed vp in victory. Death, where is thy stynge? Hell, where is yi victory? ⁵⁶ The stynge of death is synne: The strength of synne is the lawe. ⁵⁷ But thankes be vnto God, which hath geue vs the victory thorow oure LORDE Iesus Christ.

¹⁰ which delyuered vs from so greate a death, and yet delyuereth daylie, On whom we trust, that he wil delyuer vs here after also,

²¹ Tell me ye that wylbe vnder the lawe, haue ye not herde the lawe?

⁷ For God hath not geuen vs the sprete of feare, but of power, and of loue, and of right vnderstondynge.
