¹⁵ These are the prynces amoge the childre of Esau. The children of Eliphas the first sonne of Esau, were these: The prynce Theman, ye prynce Omar, the prynce Zepho, the prynce Kenas,

⁴ And Ada bare Eliphas vnto Esau. Basmath bare Reguel.

¹¹ The sonnes of Eliphas were these: Theman, Omar, Zepho, Gaetham & Kenas. ¹² And Thimna was a concubyne of Elyphas ye sonne of Esau, and bare him Amaleck. These are ye children of Ada Esaus wyfe.

¹⁸ These are the children of Ahalibama Esaus wife: The prynce Ieus, ye prince Iaelam, the prynce Korah. These are the prynces of Ahalibama, ye doughter of Ana Esaus wife.

¹⁵ Then were ye prynces of Edom afrayed, tremblynge came vpo ye mightie of Moab, all the indwellers of Canaan waxed faynte harted.

³⁵ The children of Esau are: Eliphas, Reguel, Ieus, Iaelam, Korah. ³⁶ The children of Eliphas are, Theman, Omar, Zephi, Gaethan, Kenas, Thimna & Amalek.

⁴⁵ And whan Iobab dyed, Husam out of ye londe of the Themanites was kynge in his steade.

⁵¹ But whan Hadad dyed, there were prynces at Edom: Prynce Thimnah, prynce Alua, prynce Ietheth, ⁵² prynce Ahalibama, prynce Ela, prynce Pinon, ⁵³ prynce Kenas, prynce Theman, prynce Mibzar, ⁵⁴ prynce Magdiel, prynce Iram. These are the prynces of Edom.

¹¹ Now when Iobs frendes herde of all ye trouble, that happened vnto him, there came thre off them, euery one from his owne place: namely, Eliphas the Themanite, Baldad the Suhite, and Sophar the Naamathite. For they were agreed together to come, to shewe their compassion vpon him, and to comforte him.

¹ Then answered Eliphas of Theman and sayde vnto him:

⁸ Their childers children lyue in their sight, & their generacion before their eyes.

³⁵ Hope thou in the LORDE, & kepe his waye: & he shal so promote the, that thou shalt haue the lode by enheritauce, & se, when the vngodly shall perishe.

⁷ Vpon the Edomites hath the LORDE off hoostes spoken on this maner: Is there nomore wy?dome in Theman? Is there nomore good councell amonge his people? Is their wy?dome then turned clene to naught?

²⁰ Therfore heare the councell of the LORDE, that he hath taken vpon Idumea: & his purpose, that he hath deuysed vpon the citesyns of Theman: The leest of the flocke shal teare them in peces, & loke what fayre thynge they haue, they shal make it waist, & them selues also.

¹³ therfore thus saieth the LORDE: I will reach out myne honde vpon Edom, and take awaye man and beest out off it. From Thema vnto Dedan wil I make it desolate, they shalbe slayne with the swearde.

¹² Therfore will I sende a fyre in to Thema, which shal deuoure the pallaces of Bosra.

⁹ Thy giauntes (o Theman) shalbe afrayed, for thorow the slaughter they shalbe all ouer throwne vpon the mout of Esau.

³ God commeth from Theman, and the holy one from the mount of Pharan. Sela.
