⁸ The scripture sawe afore hade, that God iustifieth the Heythen thorow faith. Therfore shewed it glad tydinges afore vnto Abraham, and sayde: In the shal all the Heythen be blessed.

³ I wil blesse them that blesse the, and curse them that curse the: and in the shal all the generacions of the earth be blessed.

¹⁸ seynge he shal be a greate and mightie people, and all ye people vpo earth shalbe blessed in him?

¹⁸ and in thy sede shal all the nacions of the earth be blessed, because thou hast herkened vnto my voyce.

⁴ And I wyll multiplye thy sede as the starres of heauen, and vnto thy sede wyll I geue all this londe, and thorow thy sede shall all nacions be blessed,

¹⁴ and thy sede shal be as ye dust of ye earth. And thou shalt sprede forth towarde the west, east, north, and south: and thorow the and thy sede shall all the kynreds vpon earth be blessed.

¹⁰ The cepter shal not be remoued fro Iuda, ner a master fro his fete, tyll the Worthye come, and vnto him shal the people fall.

⁷ In his tyme shal rightuousnesse florish, yee and abundauce of peace, so longe as the Moone endureth.

¹³ Neuertheles, the tenth parte shal remayne therin, for it shal conuerte and be fruteful. And likewise as the Terebyntes and Oketrees bringe forth their frutes, so shal the holy sede haue frute.

⁹ But I will take a sede out of Iacob, and out of Iuda one, to take possession of my hill. My chosen shal possesse these thinges, & my seruauntes shall dwell there.

³⁸ He that beleueth on me, as the scripture sayeth, out of his body shal flowe ryuers of the water of life.

⁴² Sayeth not the scripture, that Christ shal come of the sede of Dauid, and out of the towne of Bethleem, where Dauid was?

³⁷ And agayne, another scripture sayeth: They shal se him, whom they haue pearsed.

²⁵ For Dauid speaketh of him: Afore honde haue I set the LORDE allwayes before me, for he is on my right hode, that I shulde not be moued. ²⁶ Therfore dyd my hert reioyse, and my tunge was glad: For my flesh also shal rest in hope.

³⁵ vntyll I make thine enemies yi fote stole.

¹⁵ And vnto this agree ye wordes of the prophetes, as it is wrytte: ¹⁶ After this wyl I returne and wyl buylde agayne ye tabernacle of Dauid, that is fallen downe, and that which is fallen in decaye therof, wyl I buylde agayne, and wyl set it vp, ¹⁷ that the residue of men maye seke after the LORDE: & also the Heythen vpo whom my name is named, sayeth the LORDE, which doth all these thinges. ¹⁸ Knowne vnto God are all his workes from the begynnynge of ye worlde.

²⁸ We holde therfore that a man is iustified by faith, without the workes of the lawe. ²⁹ Or is God the God of the Iewes onely? Is he not also the God of the Heythen? Yes verely the God of the Heythen also, ³⁰ for so moch as he is the God onely that iustifieth the circumcision which is of faith, and the vncircucision thorow faith.

¹⁷ For the scripture sayeth vnto Pharao: For this cause haue I stered the vp, euen to shewe my power on the, that my name mighte be declared in all lodes.

³⁰ What shal we saye then? This wil we saye: The Heythen which folowed not righteousnes, haue ouertaken righteousnes: but I speake of the righteousnes that commeth of faith.

¹⁶ To Abraham and his sede were the promyses made. He sayeth not: In the sedes, as in many, but in thy sede, as in one, which is Christ.

²² But ye scripture hath shut vp all vnder synne, that ye promes shulde come by the faith on Iesus Christ, geue vnto the that beleue.

³⁰ But what sayeth the scripture? Put awaye the bonde mayden and hir sonne: for the sonne of ye bondmayde shal not be heyre with ye sonne of the fre woman.

¹⁵ And for so moch as thou hast knowne holy scripture of a childe, the same is able to make ye wyse vnto saluacion thorow the faith in Christ Iesu. ¹⁶ For all scripture geue by inspiracion of God, is profitable to teach, to improue, to amende, and to instructe in righteousnes, ¹⁷ that a man off God maye be perfecte, and prepared vnto all good workes.

² for it is declared vnto vs as well as vnto the. But the worde of preachinge helped not the, wha they that herde it, beleued it not.

¹⁵ And the seuenth angel blewe, and ther were made greate voyces in heauen, sayege: the kyngdoms of this worlde are oure LORDES and his Christes, and he shal reigne for eurmore.
