¹ After this, he brought me agayne to ye outwarde dore of the Sanctuary on the east syde, and that was shut.

⁹ He made a courte likewyse for the prestes, and a greate courte, and dores in the courte, and ouerlayed ye dores with brasse.

⁵ And Iosaphat stode amoge ye cogregacion of Iuda & Ierusalem in the house of ye LORDE before the new courte,

⁵ And vnto all the hoost of heauen buylded he altares in both the courtes of ye house of the LORDE.

⁶ Then came he vnto the eastdore, and wente vp the stares, & measured the postes of the dore: wherof euery one was a meterodde thicke. Euery chambre was a meterodde longe and brode:

¹⁷ Then brought he me in to the fore courte, where as were chabres & paued workes, made in ye fore courte roude aboute: xxx chabres vpon one paued worcke.

¹⁴ When the prestes come therin, they shal not go out in to the fore courte: but (seynge they be holy) they shall leaue the clothes of their ministracion, and put on other garmentes, when they haue eny thinge to do with the people.

¹ So he brought me to ye dore, that turneth towarde the east.

⁴ but the glory of the LORDE came in to the house thorow the eastdore.

¹ Thus sayeth the LORDE God: ye dore of the ynnermer courte towarde the east, shall be shut the vj. worke dayes: but in the Sabbath and in the daye of the new Moone, it shalbe opened.

²⁸ and cryed: Ye men of Israel, helpe, this is the man, that teacheth all men euery where agaynst oure people, the lawe, and this place. He hath broughte Grekes also in to the temple, and hath defyled this holy place. ²⁹ For they had sene Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the cite, him they thoughte yt Paul had broughte in to the temple. ³⁰ And all the cite was moued, and the people ranne together. And they toke Paul, and drue him out off the temple, and forth with the dores were shut to.
