²¹ Beholde, thou sonne of ma, I wil breake ye arme of Pharao kynge of Egipte: and lo, it shal not be boude vp to be healed, nether shal eny playstre be layed vpon it, for to ease it, or to make it so stroge, as to holde a swearde.

¹⁵ Breake thou ye arme off the vngodly and malycious, search out the wickednesse which he hath done, that he maye perish.

¹⁷ For the armes of ye vngodly shalbe broken, but the LORDE vpholdeth the rightuous.

²⁴ Agayne I will strength ye arme of the kinge of Babilo, & geue him my swearde in his hode: but I wil breake Pharaos arme, so yt he shal holde it before him piteously, like a wounded man.

¹⁶ Thy marchauntes haue bene mo then the starres of heaue: but now shal they sprede abrode as the locustes, and fle their waye:

²¹ And a mighty angell toke vp a greate stone lyke a mylstone, and cast it in to the see, sayenge: with suche violece shal that greate cite Babylon be cast, and shalbe founde no more.
