⁷ Pourge out therfore the olde leuen, that ye maye be new dowe, like as ye are swete bred. For we also haue an Easter lambe, which is Christ, that is offred for vs.

⁵ But it shal be a lambe without blemish, a male, & of a yeare olde. From amonge the lambes & goates shal ye take it. ⁶ And ye shal kepe it vnto ye fourtene daye of the moneth. And euery man of the congregacion of Israel shal slaye it aboute the eueninge.

¹⁵ Seuen dayes shall ye eate vnleuended bred: namely, vpon the first daie shal ye leaue of with leuended bred in youre houses. Who so euer eateth leuended bred from the first daye vnto ye seuenth that soule shall be roted out from Israel.

⁶ Seue dayes shall thou eate vnleuended bred, & vpon the seuenth daye is the LORDES feast: ⁷ therfore shalt thou eate vnleuended bred seue dayes, that there be no sowre dowe, ner sowred bred sene in all thy quarters.

⁷ He shal be payned & troubled, ad shal not ope his mouth. He shalbe led as a shepe to be slayne, yet shal he be as still as a lambe before the shearer, & not open his mouth. ⁸ He shal be had awaye, his cause not herde, & wtout eny iudgment: Whose generacion yet no man maye nombre, when he shalbe cut of fro the grounde of the lyvinge: Which punyshment shal go vpon him, for the transgression of my people. ⁹ His graue shalbe geue him with the codemned, & his crucifienge with the theues, Where as he dyd neuer violence ner vnright, nether hath there bene eny disceatfulnesse in his mouth. ¹⁰ Yet hath it pleased ye LORDE to smyte him with infirmite, that when he had made his soule an offeringe for synne, he might se a loge lastinge sede. And this device of the LORDE shal prospere in his honde.

¹² And vpon ye first daye of swete bred, wha the Easter lambe was offered, his disciples sayde vnto him: Where wilt thou yt we go and prepare, yt thou mayest eate ye Easter labe?

²⁹ The nexte daye after, Ihon sawe Iesus commynge vnto him, and sayde: Beholde the labe of God, which taketh awaye the synne of the worlde.

³⁶ And wha he sawe Iesus walkynge, he sayde: Beholde the labe of God.

¹⁴ It was the daye of preparinge of the Easter aboute the sixte houre. And he sayde vnto the Iewes: Beholde yor kynge.

³² The tenoure of the scripture which he red, was this: He was led as a shepe to be slayne, and as a lambe voycelesse before his sherer, so opened he not his mouth. ³³ In his humblenesse is his iudgment exalted. Who shal declare his generacion? for his life is taken awaye from the earth. ³⁴ Then answered the chamberlayne vnto Philippe, and sayde: I praye the, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himselfe, or of some other man? ³⁵ Philippe opened his mouth, and beganne at this scripture, and preached him the Gospell of Iesus.

¹³ As for them that are without, God shal iudge them. Put awaye fro you him that is euell.

¹⁷ The bred that we breake, is it not ye partakinge of ye body of Christ? For we many, are one bred & one body, in as moch as we all are partakers of one bred.

³ For first of all I delyuered vnto you that which I also receaued, how that Christ dyed for oure synnes acordinge to the scriptures, ⁴ and that he was buried, and that he rose agayne ye thirde daye acordinge to the scriptures,

²² So then as concernynge the conuersacion in tyme past laye from you that olde man which marreth himselfe thorow disceauable lustes:

⁵ Mortifye therfore youre mebres which are vpon earth, whordome, vnclennes, vnnaturall lust, euell concupiscece, and couetousnes, which is a worshippynge of Idols: ⁶ for which thinges sakes the wrath of God commeth vpon the children of vnbeleue: ⁷ in the which thinges ye walked some tyme, whan ye lyued in them. ⁸ But now put all awaye fro you: wrath, fearcenesse, maliciousnes, cursed speakynge, fylthie wordes out of youre mouth. ⁹ Lye not one to another. Put of ye olde ma with his workes,

¹⁹ but with the precious bloude of Christ, as of an innocet and vndefyled lambe, ²⁰ which was ordeyned before the worlde was made, but is declared in these last tymes for youre sakes,

⁶ And I behelde, & lo, in the myddes of the seate, and of ye foure beastes, and in the myddes of ye elders, stode a lambe as though he had bene kylled, which had seuen hornes and seue eyes, which are the seue spretes of God, sent in to all the worlde. ⁷ And he came and toke the boke out of the right hode of him that sat vpon the seate. ⁸ And when he had taken the boke, the foure beestes and the xxiiij. elders fell downe before the lambe, hauinge harpes and golden vialles full of odoures (which are ye prayers of the sayntes) ⁹ and they songe a newe songe saynge: thou art worthy to take the boke & to ope the seales therof: for thou wast kylled, and hast redemed vs by thy bloud, out of all kynreddes, and toges, and people, and nacions,

¹² sayenge with a loude voyce: Worthy is the lambe that was killed, to receaue power, and riches & wissdome, and strength, and honoure and glory, and blessynge.
