² The fruit of the labor of your palms shall you surely eat; Happy are you, and it will be well for you."

¹⁹ In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread, till your return to the ground, for from it are you taken, for soil you are, and to soil are you returning.

⁴ Blessed be the fruit of your belly, the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your beast, the calving of your domestic animals and the lambing of your flock.

¹¹ Then through the fruit of your belly, the fruit of your domestic beast and the fruit of your ground, Yahweh will give you surplus in goods on the ground about which Yahweh had sworn to your fathers to give to you.

³⁹ You shall plant vineyards, and you will service them, yet you shall neither drink the wine, nor shall you hoard it, for the worm shall devour it.

⁵¹ It will devour the fruit of your beast and the fruit of your ground until you are exterminated, a nation who shall not let grain, grape juice or clarified oil, the calving of your domestic animals or the lambing of your flock remain for you, until it destroys you.

³ And it has been, if Israel has sowed, that Midian has come up, and Amalek, and the sons of the east, yea, they have come up against him, ⁴ and encamp against them, and destroy the increase of the land till your entering Gaza; and they leave no sustenance in Israel, either sheep, or ox, or ass;" ⁵ for they and their cattle come up, with their tents; they come in as the fulness of the locust for multitude, and of them and of their cattle there is no number, and they come into the land to destroy it. ⁶ And Israel is very weak from the presence of Midian, and the sons of Israel cry unto Yahweh.

¹¹ May the creditor confiscate all that he has, And may aliens plunder the fruit of his labor."

¹⁸ Behold, that which I have seen that is good, that is fitting is:To eat and to drink and to see good in all one's toil that he is toiling under the sun, During the number of days in his life that the One, Elohim, has given to him, For that is his portion." ¹⁹ Moreover, concerning any man to whom the One, Elohim, gives riches and substance, And gives him power to eat of it and to obtain his portion and to rejoice in his toil, This good, it is a gift of Elohim."

¹² Though a sinner does a hundred evils and days are prolonged for him, Yet I know that good shall come to those fearful of the One, Elohim, Who fear before Him."

¹⁰ Say to the righteous that good is his portion, for the fruit of their actions are they eating."

⁸ Sworn has Yahweh with His right hand, and with the arm of His strength, "Should I give your grain further as food for your enemies--! And should sons of foreigners drink your grape juice for which you labor--!"

¹³ Therefore, thus says my Lord Yahweh, "Behold! My servants shall eat, yet you shall be famished. Behold! My servants shall drink, yet you shall thirst. Behold! My servants shall rejoice, yet you shall be ashamed."

²¹ And they build houses and dwell in them, and they plant vineyards, and eat their fruit." ²² They will not build, and another dwell; they will not plant, and another eat. For as the days of the tree of life are the days of My people, and their handiwork shall be worn out by My chosen." ²³ They shall not labor for naught, nor shall they generate for decadence. For the seed of the blessed of Yahweh are they, and their offspring with them."

¹⁵ Do you reign, because you are fretting yourself in cedar? Your father--did he not eat and drink? Yea, he did judgment and righteousness, Then [it is] well with him."

⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brethren, become settled, unmovable, superabounding in the work of the Lord always, being aware that your toil is not for naught in the Lord."

³ that it may be becoming well with you, and you should be a long time on the earth."
