Proverbs 7:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ My son, keep my sayings, And store up my instructions within you."

²⁸ and the malediction if you should not hearken to the instructions of Yahweh your Elohim, and you withdraw from the way that I am enjoining on you today, by going after other elohim whom you have not known.

²² Take hold, I pray, to the law from His mouth, And place His sayings in your heart.

⁸ Hear, my son, the admonition of your father, And do not abandon the law of your mother."

¹ My son, if you take my words And store up my instructions within you, ² Attending with your ear to wisdom, And you stretch out your heart to comprehension, ³ Indeed if you call out for understanding, And you lift up your voice for comprehension, ⁴ If you seek it as for silver And search for it as for buried treasures, ⁵ Then you shall understand the fear of Yahweh, And you shall find the knowledge of God." ⁶ For Yahweh Himself gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and comprehension; ⁷ He stores up sagacity for the upright, A shield for those walking with integrity,

¹ My son, do not forget my law, And let your heart preserve my instructions;"

¹⁴ Wise men, they store up knowledge, Yet the mouth of a foolish man brings dismay near."

¹⁵ Now that in the ideal earth, these are they who, in a heart ideal and good, hearing the word, are retaining it and are bearing fruit with endurance."

²⁸ Yet He said, "Indeed then, happy are those who are hearing the word of God and maintaining it!"

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone should be loving Me, he will be keeping My word, and My Father will be loving him, and We shall be coming to him and making an abode with him."

²⁰ Remember the word which I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his lord.' If Me they persecute, you they will be persecuting also. If My word they keep, yours also will they be keeping."

³ Happy is he who is reading and those who are hearing the word of the prophecy, and who are keeping that which is written in it, for the era is near."

⁹ And he is saying to me, "See! No! a fellow slave of yours am I, and of your brethren, the prophets and those keeping the sayings of this scroll. Worship God!"
