²¹ My son, let them not steal away from your eyes:Preserve sagacity and foresight,

⁹ But guard yourself and keep your soul especially vigilant, lest you should forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they should withdraw from your heart, all the days of your lives. You make them known to your sons and to your sons' sons, lest you forge.

⁶ These words which I am instructing you today will come to be in your heart. ⁷ Repeat them to your sons, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you arise. ⁸ Tie them for a sign on your hand, and they will come to be for the brow bands between your eyes;" ⁹ Write them on the jambs of your house and on your gates.

⁴⁶ he said to them:Set your heart on all the words which I am testifying among you today, so that you may enjoin them on your sons to observe to obey all the words of this law. ⁴⁷ For it is not an empty word for you; it means your life, and by this word you may prolong your days on the ground where you are crossing over the Jordan to tenant it.

⁸ the book of this law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you do observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you do cause your way to prosper, and then you do act wisely.

⁷ He stores up sagacity for the upright, A shield for those walking with integrity,

¹ My son, do not forget my law, And let your heart preserve my instructions;" ² For length of days and years of life And peace shall they add to you. ³ Benignity and truth, let them not forsake you; Tie them about your throat, And write them on the tablet of your heart."

²¹ Let them not steal away from before your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

³¹ Jesus, then, said to the Jews who have believed Him, "If ever you should be remaining in My word, you are truly My disciples,

⁶ If anyone should not be remaining in Me, he was cast out as a branch, and it withered. And they are gathering them, and into the fire are they casting them, and they are being burned." ⁷ If ever you should be remaining in Me and My declarations should be remaining in you, whatever you should be wanting, request, and it will be occurring to you."

¹ Therefore we must more exceedingly be heeding what is being heard, lest at some time we may be drifting by." ² For if the word spoken through messengers came to be confirmed, and every transgression and disobedience obtained a fair reward, ³ how shall we be escaping when neglecting a salvation of such proportions which, obtaining a beginning through the speaking of the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who hear Him,

²⁴ Let that which you hear from the beginning be remaining in you. If ever that which you hear from the beginning should be remaining in you, you, also, will be remaining in the Son and in the Father."

²⁷ And the anointing which you obtained from Him is remaining in you, and you have no need that anyone may be teaching you, but as His anointing is teaching you concerning all, and is true, and is no lie, according as it teaches you also, remain in Him."
