¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ² Make for yourself two bugles of silver. Out of a stiff shell shall you make them. And they will become yours for the calling of the congregation and for the journeying of the camps. ³ When they blow long on both of them, then the whole congregation will congregate with you at the opening of the tent of appointment. ⁴ Yet should they blow long on just one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, will congregate with you. ⁵ When you blow a short blast then the camps encamping eastward will journey. ⁶ When you blow the second blast then the camps encamping southward will journey. When you blow the third blast then the camps encamping westward will journey. When you blow the fourth blast then the camps encamping northward will journey. Short blasts shall they blow for their decampings; ⁷ yet when the assembly is to assemble you shall blow long and not sound short blasts. ⁸ The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the bugles. And they will be to you as an eonian statute throughout your generations. ⁹ In case you enter a war in your land with the foe who is distressing you then you will blast on the bugles, and you will be remembered before Yahweh your Elohim, and you will be saved from your enemies. ¹⁰ And in the day of your rejoicing, in your appointments and at the beginnings of your months you will blow on bugles over your ascent offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they will be to you for a memorial before your Elohim. I, Yahweh, am your Elohim. ¹¹ It came to be in the second year, in the second month on the twentieth of the month that the cloud was taken up off the tabernacle of the testimony. ¹² So the sons of Israel decamped for their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, until the cloud tabernacled in the wilderness of Paran. ¹³ Thus they decamped for the first time at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses. ¹⁴ The standard of the camp of the sons of Judah decamped first by their militia hosts; and over his host was Nahshon son of Amminadab. ¹⁵ Over the host of the stock of the sons of Issachar was Nathanael son of Zuar. ¹⁶ And over the host of the stock of the sons of Zebulun was Eliab son of Helon. ¹⁷ Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari decamped, the carriers of the tabernacle. ¹⁸ Next the standard of the camp of Reuben decamped by their militia hosts; and over his host was Elizur son of Shedeur. ¹⁹ Over the host of the stock of the sons of Simeon was Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. ²⁰ And over the host of the stock of the sons of Gad was Eliasaph son of Reuel. ²¹ Then the Kohathites decamped, the carriers of the holy things. (The others would set up the tabernacle previous to their coming.. ²² The standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim decamped by their militia hosts; and over his host was Elishama son of Ammihud. ²³ Over the host of the stock of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. ²⁴ And over the host of the stock of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan son of Gideoni. ²⁵ Then the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan decamped as rear guard for all the camps by their militia hosts; and over his host was Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. ²⁶ Over the host of the stock of the sons of Asher was Pagiel son of Ocran. ²⁷ And over the host of the stock of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira son of Enan. ²⁸ This was the order for the journey of the sons of Israel by their militia hosts when they journeyed on. ²⁹ Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses:We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said:It shall I give to you. Go with us and we will do good to you, for Yahweh has pronounced good things for Israel. ³⁰ Yet he said to him:I shall not go, but rather to my land and to my kindred shall I go. ³¹ Then he said:Do not, I pray, forsake us, because you know where we are to encamp in the wilderness you will be as eyes for us. ³² And it will come to be in case you go with us, when that good comes by which Yahweh shall do good to us, we also will do good to you. ³³ They journeyed from the mount of Yahweh a way of three days while the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh was journeying before them a way of three days to explore a resting place for them. ³⁴ And the cloud of Yahweh was over them by day on their journey from the camp. ³⁵ It came to be whenever the coffer journeyed Moses said:Arise, Yahweh, that Your enemies may scatter and those hating You may flee from Your presence. ³⁶ And whenever it stopped he said:Dwell, Yahweh, with the myriads of Israel's thousands.

¹⁸ You will make two cherubim of gold; you shall hammer them a stiff shell of one piece with the two ends of the propitiatory shelter.

³¹ You will make the lampstand of pure gold; of a stiff shell shall you make the lampstand, its stem and its tube; its cones, its spheres and its buds shall come out from it.

⁷ yet when the assembly is to assemble you shall blow long and not sound short blasts.

¹³ Only, there is not made for the house of Yahweh basins of silver, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, any vessel of gold, and vessel of silver, out of the money that is brought into the house of Yahweh;"

¹² and the Levites, the singers, to all of them, to Asaph, to Heman, to Jeduthun, and to their sons, and to their brethren, clothed in white linen, with cymbals, and with psalteries, and harps, are standing on the east of the altar, and with them priests, to a hundred and twenty, blowing with trumpets-.

³ Blow the trumpet in the new moon, In the full moon for the day of our celebration."

¹⁵ Happy are the people who know the joyful shouting; O Yahweh, they shall walk in the light of Your presence."

¹³ Do not continue to bring a futile approach present. Incense--it is an abhorrence to Me! The new moon and the sabbath, the calling of a meeting--! I cannot bear a fast and a day of restraint!"

¹ To your mouth with the trumpet! One as a vulture is over the house of Yahweh, because they trespass against My covenant, and against My law they transgress."

¹⁴ Hallow a fast! Proclaim a time of restraint! Gather, elders, all the dwellers of the land, to the house of Yahweh, your Elohim! And cry out to Yahweh."

⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

⁵ Declare in Judah, and in Jerusalem sound, And say you, `Blow a trumpet in the land,' Call you fully, and say you:`Be gathered, and we go in to the fenced city.'"

¹⁵ Blow the trumpet in Zion! Hallow a fast! Proclaim a time of restraint! ¹⁶ Gather the people! Hallow the assembly! Convene the elders! Gather the unweaned children and the sucklings at the breasts! The bridegroom shall fare forth from his chamber, and the bride from her canopy!"

²¹ Now you shall perceive among all the people men of ability, fearful of Elohim, men of truth, hating gain. You will place these over them as chiefs of thousands, chiefs of hundreds, chiefs of fifties and chiefs of tens.

⁴ And with you shall come to be a man for each stock; each the head of his fathers' house shall he be. ⁵ These are the names of the men who shall stand with you:for Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;" ⁶ for Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;" ⁷ for Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;" ⁸ for Issachar, Nathanael son of Zuar;" ⁹ for Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;" ¹⁰ for the sons of Joseph:for Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;" ¹¹ for Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;" ¹² for Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;" ¹³ for Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;" ¹⁴ for Gad, Eliasaph son of Reuel;" ¹⁵ for Naphtali, Ahida son of Enan. ¹⁶ These are the called of the congregation, princes of the stocks of their fathers; they are heads of thousands of Israel.

² then the princes of Israel (the heads of their fathers' house, they, princes of the twelve stocks, they who had been standing over the ones being mustered) made an offerin.

¹⁵ So I took the heads of your tribes, men wise and known, and I placed them as heads over you, chiefs of thousands, chiefs of hundreds, chiefs of fifties, chiefs of tens and as superintendents for your tribes.

³ Those encamping eastward, toward the sunrise, are under the standard of the camp of Judah, by their militia hosts. The prince for the sons of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab;" ⁴ his militia host and their mustered ones are seventy-four thousand six hundred. ⁵ Those encamping next to him are the stock of Issachar. The prince for the sons of Issachar is Nathanael son of Zuar; ⁶ his militia host and its mustered ones are fifty-four thousand four hundred. ⁷ The stock of Zebulun:The prince for the sons of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon; ⁸ his militia host and its mustered ones are fifty-seven thousand four hundred. ⁹ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Judah are a hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred, by their militia hosts. As the first shall they journey.

⁶ When you blow the second blast then the camps encamping southward will journey. When you blow the third blast then the camps encamping westward will journey. When you blow the fourth blast then the camps encamping northward will journey. Short blasts shall they blow for their decampings; ⁷ yet when the assembly is to assemble you shall blow long and not sound short blasts.

¹⁴ The standard of the camp of the sons of Judah decamped first by their militia hosts; and over his host was Nahshon son of Amminadab.

¹ Call with a full throat! You must not keep back! As a trumpet, raise high your voice! And tell to My people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins."

¹ Blow the trumpet in Zion! And shout in My holy mountain! All the dwellers of the land shall be disturbed, for coming is the day of Yahweh! For it is near!"

¹⁰ The standard of the camp of Reuben is southward, by their militia hosts. The prince for the sons of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur;" ¹¹ his militia host and its mustered ones are forty-six thousand five hundred. ¹² Those encamping next to him are the stock of Simeon. The prince for the sons of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai; ¹³ his militia host and their mustered ones are fifty-nine thousand three hundred. ¹⁴ As for the stock of Gad:The prince for the sons of Gad is Eliasaph son of Reuel; ¹⁵ his militia host and their mustered ones are forty-five thousand six hundred fifty. ¹⁶ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Reuben are a hundred fifty-one thousand four hundred fifty, by their militia hosts. As second ones shall they journey.

¹⁸ Next the standard of the camp of Reuben decamped by their militia hosts; and over his host was Elizur son of Shedeur.

³ When they blow long on both of them, then the whole congregation will congregate with you at the opening of the tent of appointment. ⁴ Yet should they blow long on just one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, will congregate with you.

⁶ Then Moses sent them out, a thousand per stock, as the militia host, and with them Phineas son of Eleazar the priest for the militia host, with the furnishings of the sanctuary and the bugles for the blast in his hand.

⁴ and seven priests do bear seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark, and on the seventh day you compass the city seven times, and the priests blow with the trumpets, ⁵ and it has been, in the prolongation of the horn of the jubilee, in your hearing the voice of the trumpet, all the people shout--a great shout, and the wall of the city has fallen under it, and the people have gone up, each over-against him.. ⁶ And Joshua son of Nun calls unto the priests, and said unto them, `Bear you the ark of the covenant, and seven priests do bear seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark of Yahweh;. <sup>7</sup> and He said unto the people, `Pass over, and compass the city, and he who is armed does pass over before the ark of Yahweh.. ⁸ And it comes to pass, when Joshua speaks unto the people, that the seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the jubilee before Yahweh have passed over and blown with the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of Yahweh is going after them;" ⁹ and he who is armed is going before the priests blowing the trumpets, and he who is gathering up is going after the ark, going on and blowing with the trumpets;" ¹⁰ and the people has Joshua commanded, saying, `You do not shout, nor cause your voice to be heard, nor does there go out from your mouth a word, till the day of my saying unto you, Shout you--then you have shouted.. <sup>11</sup> And the ark of Yahweh does compass the city, going round once, and they come into the camp, and lodge in the camp. <sup>12</sup> And Joshua rises early in the morning, and the priests bear the ark of Yahweh, <sup>13</sup> and seven priests bearing seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark of Yahweh are walking, going on, and they have blown with the trumpets--and he who is armed is going before them, and he who is gathering up is going behind the ark of Yahweh--going on and blowing with the trumpets. <sup>14</sup> And they compass the city on the second day once, and turn back to the camp; thus they have done six days. <sup>15</sup> And it comes to pass, on the seventh day, that they rise early, at the ascending of the dawn, and compass the city, according to this manner, seven times; (only, on that day they have compassed the city seven times);" <sup>16</sup> and it comes to pass, at the seventh time, the priests have blown with the trumpets, and Joshua said unto the people, `Shout you, for Yahweh has given to you the city;"

²⁴ And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the priests, are blowing with trumpets before the ark of Elohim; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [are] gatekeepers for the ark.

⁶ and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of Elohim.

¹² `And lo, with us--at [our] head--[is] Elohim, and His priests and trumpets of shouting to shout against you; O sons of Israel, do not fight with Yahweh, Elohim of your fathers, for you do not prosper.. ¹³ And Jeroboam has brought round the ambush to come in from behind them, and they are before Judah, and the ambush [is] behind them. ¹⁴ And Judah turns, and lo, against them [is] the battle, before and behind, and they cry to Yahweh, and the priests are blowing with trumpets, ¹⁵ and the men of Judah shout--and it comes to pass, at the shouting of the men of Judah, that Elohim has smitten Jeroboam, and all Israel, before Abijah and Judah.

¹ Now mindful is the Elohim of Noah and every living animal and every beast and every flyer and every moving animal which is with him in the ark. And the Elohim is causing a wind to pass over the earth, and subsiding are the waters.

⁵ and it has been, in the prolongation of the horn of the jubilee, in your hearing the voice of the trumpet, all the people shout--a great shout, and the wall of the city has fallen under it, and the people have gone up, each over-against him..

¹⁸ And when Yahweh raised up to them judges--then was Yahweh with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for it repents Yahweh, because of their groaning from the presence of their oppressors, and of those thrusting them away.

²⁷ And it comes to pass, in his coming in, that he blows with a trumpet in the hill-country of Ephraim, and go down with him do the sons of Israel from the hill-country, and he before them;"

² and Yahweh sells them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who has reigned in Hazor, and the head of his host [is] Sisera, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the Goyim;" ³ and the sons of Israel cry unto Yahweh, for he has nine hundred chariots of iron, and he has oppressed the sons of Israel mightily twenty years.

⁹ and I deliver you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all your oppressors, and I cast them out from your presence, and I give to you their land,

³⁴ and the Spirit of Yahweh has clothed Gideon, and he blows with a trumpet, and Abi-Ezer is called after him;"

¹⁶ And he divides the three hundred men [into] three detachments, and puts trumpets into the hand of all of them, and empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers. ¹⁷ And he said unto them, `Look at me, and thus do; and lo, I am coming into the extremity of the camp--and it has been--as I do so you do;" <sup>18</sup> and I have blown with a trumpet--I and all who [are] with me, and you have blown with trumpets, even you, round about all the camp, and have said, For Yahweh and for Gideon.. <sup>19</sup> And Gideon comes--and the hundred men who [are] with him--into the extremity of the camp, [at] the beginning of the middle watch (it has only just confirmed the watchmen), and they blow with trumpets--dashing in pieces also the pitchers which [are] in their hand;" <sup>20</sup> and the three detachments blow with trumpets, and break the pitchers, and keep hold with their left hand on the lamps, and with their right hand on the trumpets to blow, and they cry, `The sword of Yahweh and of Gideon.. ²¹ And they stand each in his place, round about the camp, and all the camp runs, and they shout, and flee;"

⁸ and they crush and oppress the sons of Israel in that year--eighteen years all the sons of Israel [who] are beyond the Jordan, in the land of the Amorite, which [is] in Gilead.

¹² And the Zidonians, and Amalek, and Maon have oppressed you, and you cry unto Me, and I save you out of their hand;"

¹⁸ and said unto the sons of Israel, `Thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, I have brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I deliver you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms who are oppressing you;"

¹⁴ And Judah turns, and lo, against them [is] the battle, before and behind, and they cry to Yahweh, and the priests are blowing with trumpets,

⁴ Remember me, O Yahweh, in Your benevolence to Your people; Notice me in Your salvation,

⁴² Their enemies oppressed them, And they were made to submit under their hand."

²³ Who in our lowliness remembered us, For His benignity is eonian;"

³ All dwellers of the habitance, and tabernaclers of the earth:As the lifting of a banner on the mountains, you shall see, and as the blowing of a trumpet, you shall hear."

¹⁹ My bowels, my bowels! I am pained [at] the walls of my heart, Make a noise for me does My heart, I am not silent, For the voice of a trumpet I have heard, O my soul--a shout of battle!"

²¹ Till when do I see an ensign? Do I hear the voice of a trumpet?

¹ Strengthen yourselves, sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa blow you a trumpet, And over Beth-Haccerem lift you up a flame, For evil has been seen from the north, And great destruction."

¹⁷ And I have raised up for you watchmen, Attend you to the voice of the trumpet. And they say, `We do not attend.'"

¹⁴ They have blown with a trumpet to prepare the whole, And none is going to battle, For My wrath [is] unto all its multitude."

³ And he has seen the sword coming against the land, And has blown with a trumpet, and has warned the people, ⁴ And the hearer has heard the voice of the trumpet, and he has not taken warning, And come in does the sword, and takes him away, His blood is on his head." ⁵ The voice of the trumpet he heard, And he has not taken warning, his blood is on him, And he who took warning his soul has delivered." ⁶ And the watchman, when he sees the sword coming in, And he has not blown with a trumpet, And the people has not been warned, And come in does a sword, And takes away of them--a soul, He in his iniquity is taken away, And his blood from the hand of the watchman I require."

⁸ Blow a trumpet in Gibeah! A bugle in Ramah! Shout in Beth-aven:Look behind you, Benjamin!"

⁶ Would a trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not tremble? Would there come to be evil in a city, and Yahweh not have done it?

¹⁶ a day of trumpet and blast against the defended cities, and against the lofty corners."

⁷⁰ According as He speaks through the mouth of His holy prophets, who are from the eon; " ⁷¹ Salvation from our enemies, And out of the hand of all those who are hating us, ⁷² To do mercy with our fathers, And to be reminded of His holy covenant, ⁷³ The oath which He swears to Abraham our father, ⁷⁴ To grant to us, being rescued out of the hand of our enemies, To be fearlessly offering divine service to Him"

⁸ For if a trumpet, also, should be giving a dubious sound, who will be preparing for battle?

²⁹ Thus Aaron will bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment over his heart as a continual reminder before Yahweh when he enters into the holy place.

¹⁶ You will take the sheltering ransom silver from the sons of Israel and give it to the service of the tent of appointment that it become for the sons of Israel a memorial before Yahweh to shelter your souls.

²⁴ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month on day one of the month there shall be a cessation for you with a memorial trumpet blasting, a holy meeting.

⁹ Then you will make the trumpet blast pass over all your land in the seventh month on the tenth of the month. On the day of propitiatory shelters you shall make the trumpet pass over all your land. ¹⁰ And you will hallow the year, the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty in the land to all its dwellers. A jubilee year shall this one be for you; each of you will return to his holding, and each of you shall return to his family.

⁹ In case you enter a war in your land with the foe who is distressing you then you will blast on the bugles, and you will be remembered before Yahweh your Elohim, and you will be saved from your enemies.

¹ In the seventh month, on day one of the month you shall come to have a holy meeting when you shall do no occupational work at all; a day of trumpet blast shall you come to have.

⁷ that you have said to them, Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off, at the presence of the ark of the covenant of Yahweh; in its passing over into the Jordan were the waters of the Jordan cut off; and these stones have been for a memorial to the sons of Israel--to the eon..

²⁸ And all Israel are bringing up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh with shouting, and with the sound of a cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding with psalteries and harps,

⁴² and with them--Heman and Jeduthun--[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of Elohim, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.

¹² and the Levites, the singers, to all of them, to Asaph, to Heman, to Jeduthun, and to their sons, and to their brethren, clothed in white linen, with cymbals, and with psalteries, and harps, are standing on the east of the altar, and with them priests, to a hundred and twenty, blowing with trumpets-. ¹³ yea, it comes to pass, as one [are] trumpeters and singers, to sound--one voice--to praise and to give thanks to Yahweh, and at the lifting up of the sound with trumpets, and with cymbals, and with instruments of song, and at giving praise to Yahweh, for good, for to the eon [is] His kindness, that the house is filled with a cloud--the house of Yahweh,

⁶ And the priests over their charges are standing, and the Levites with instruments of the song of Yahweh--that David the king made, to give thanks to Yahweh, for to the eon [is] His kindness, in David's praising by their hand--and the priests are blowing trumpets over-against them, and all Israel are standing.

²⁶ and the Levites stand with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

²⁸ And all the assembly are doing obeisance, and the singers singing, and the trumpeters blowing; the whole [is] till the completion of the burnt-offering.

¹⁰ When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Yahweh, then priests clothed in their vestments, with bugles, and Levites (sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their stand to praise Yahweh according to the acclamation directions of David king of Israel.

³⁵ and of the sons of the priests with trumpets, Zechariah son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Michaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,

⁵ Make melody to Yahweh with the harp, With the harp and the sound of melody." ⁶ With bugles and the sound of the trumpet, Raise a joyful shout before Yahweh the King."

³ Praise Him with the blowing of a trumpet; Praise Him with zither and harp.

¹³ And it comes, in that day, blown shall be a great trumpet, and those perishing in the land of Assyria will come, and those expelled in the land of Egypt, and worship Yahweh in the holy mount in Jerusalem."

¹ Ho! Every thirsty one! Go to the water! And he who has no money, go, purchase and eat and drink, and go, purchase with no money and with no price, wine and milk." ² Why will you weigh out money for that which is not bread? And give your labor for that which gives no satisfaction? Hearken, yea hearken to Me, and eat what is good. And deliciousness in sleekness shall your soul enjoy." ³ Stretch out your ear and go to Me; hear Me, and your soul shall live in good. And I will contract with you a covenant eonian, the kindnesses of David that are faithful." ⁴ Behold! A Witness to the folkstems I make Him, a Governor and Instructor for the folkstems."

²⁸ Hither to Me, all who are toiling and laden, and I will be giving you rest."

⁴ Now he, looking intently at him, and becoming affrighted, said, "What is it, lord?Now he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms ascended for a memorial in front of God."

²⁴ and giving thanks, breaks it and said, "This is My body, broken for your sakes. This do for a recollection of Me." ²⁵ Similarly, the cup also, after dining, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you are drinking, for a recollection of Me." ²⁶ For as often as you are eating this bread and drinking this cup, you are announcing the Lord's death until He should be coming."

⁵² in an instant, in the twinkle of an eye, at the last trump. For He will be trumpeting, and the dead will be roused incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

¹⁶ for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first,

¹⁸ So that, console one another with these words."

¹⁷ And the spirit and the bride are saying, 'Come!' and let him who is hearing say, 'Come!' And let him who is thirsting come. Let him who will, take the water of life gratuitously."

² On the first day of the month, in month one, you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of appointment.

¹⁷ Then it came to be on the first month in the second year since they went forth from Egypt, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was set up.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of appointment, on day one of the second month, in the second year of their going forth from the land of Egypt, saying.

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the second year of their coming forth from the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying.

⁵ So they observed the passover in the first month on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evening hours, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh had instructed Moses, so did the sons of Israel.

¹¹ In the second month on the fourteenth day, between the evening hours shall they observe it. Over unleavened cakes and bitter herbs shall they eat it.

¹⁷ At the bidding of the cloud, taken up off the tent, the sons of Israel journeyed afterward. And in the place where the cloud tabernacled there the sons of Israel encamped. ¹⁸ At the bidding of Yahweh the sons of Israel journeyed, and at the bidding of Yahweh they encamped. All the days that the cloud tabernacled over the tabernacle they encamped. ¹⁹ And when the cloud prolonged over the tabernacle many days then the sons of Israel kept the charge of Yahweh and did not journey on. ²⁰ Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle for a number of days. At the bidding of Yahweh they encamped, and at the bidding of Yahweh they journeyed. ²¹ Sometimes the cloud came to be only from evening until morning; when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed. Whether by day or night, whenever the cloud was taken up then they journeyed. ²² Whether it was two days or a month or many days when the cloud prolonged over the tabernacle to tabernacle over it, the sons of Israel encamped and did not journey. Yet when it was taken up they journeyed. ²³ At the bidding of Yahweh they encamped, and at the bidding of Yahweh they journeyed. The charge of Yahweh they kept at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses.

²¹ And dwelling is he in the wilderness of Paran. And his mother is taking a wife for him from the land of Egypt.

²⁰ When they journeyed from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the fringe of the wilderness,

¹ In the third month after the going forth of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, on this day they entered the wilderness of Sinai. ² When they journeyed from Rephidim and entered the wilderness of Sinai then they encamped in the wilderness. While Israel encamped there in front of the mountain,

³⁶ Whenever the cloud ascended above the tabernacle the sons of Israel journeyed in all their journeyings. ³⁷ Yet if the cloud was not taken up, then they would not journey until the day it was taken up;"

¹⁶ Thereafter the people journeyed from Hazeroth and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

³ So Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran at the bidding of Yahweh; all of them men who were heads of the sons of Israel.

²⁶ Then they went and came to Moses, Aaron and to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel at the wilderness of Paran, toward Kadesh. They brought back word to them and to the whole congregation and showed them the fruit of the land.

¹⁵ They journeyed from Rephidim and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai. ¹⁶ They journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai and encamped at Kibroth-hattaavah.

¹ These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel in Transjordan in the wilderness, in the Aravah opposite Suph between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Di-zahab.

¹⁹ We journeyed from Horeb and went through all that vast and fear-inspiring wilderness which you saw by way of the Amorite hill-country, just as Yahweh our Elohim had instructed us, and we came as far as Kadesh-barnea.

² when he said:Yahweh came from Sinai, and He arose from Seir for them. He shone from Mount Paran, and He arrived with some from myriads of the holy ones. At His right are warriors who are His.

¹ And Samuel dies, and all Israel are gathered, and mourn for him, and bury him in his house, in Ramah; and David rises and goes down unto the wilderness of Paran.

³ Eloah is coming from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. INTERLUDE His splendor covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth."

²³ At the bidding of Yahweh they encamped, and at the bidding of Yahweh they journeyed. The charge of Yahweh they kept at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses.

⁶ Yahweh our Elohim, He spoke to us at Horeb saying, Many days have you dwelt at this mountain.

⁸ Judah, you and your brothers will acclaim. Your hands shall be on the scruff of your enemies. Prostrate to you shall the sons of your father.

⁷ for Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;"

¹² The one bringing near his approach present on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab, for the stock of Judah.

¹⁹ The sons of Judah were Er and Onan. Now Er and Onan had died in the land of Canaan. ²⁰ The sons of Judah were, by their families:through Shelah the Shelanite family; through Perez the Perezite family; through Zerah the Zerahite family. ²¹ The sons of Perez were:through Hezron the Hezronite family; through Hamul the Hamulite family. ²² These were the families of Judah by their mustered ones, seventy-six thousand five hundred. ²³ The sons of Issachar by their families:through Tola the Tolaite family; through Puah the Puanite family; ²⁴ through Jashub the Jashubite family; through Shimron the Shimronite family. ²⁵ These were the families of Issachar by their mustered ones, sixty-four thousand three hundred. ²⁶ The sons of Zebulun by their families:through Sered the Seredite family; through Elon the Elonite family; through Jahleel the Jahleelite family; ²⁷ These were the families of the Zebulunite by their mustered ones, sixty thousand five hundred.

⁸ for Issachar, Nathanael son of Zuar;"

¹⁸ On the second day Nathanael son of Zuar, prince of Issachar made an offering.

⁹ for Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;"

²⁴ On the third day it was the prince for the sons of Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon.

⁵¹ When the tabernacle is to journey the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to encamp the Levites shall set it up. But any alien who comes near shall be put to death.

²⁵ The charge of the sons of Gershon at the tent of appointment was the tabernacle and the tent, its covering and the portiere of the opening of the tent of appointment, ²⁶ the slung sheets of the court and the portiere of the portal of the court which was surrounding the tabernacle and the altar, also its cords for all its service.

³⁶ And the supervision, the charge of the sons of Merari, was the hollow tapers of the tabernacle and its bars, its columns and its sockets, all its furnishings and all its service, ³⁷ also the columns of the court round about and their sockets, their pegs and their cords.

²¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ²² You are to obtain the sum of the sons of Gershon, of them also by their fathers' house, by their families. ²³ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to enlist with the Levitical host to serve in the service in the tent of appointment. ²⁴ This is the service of the Gershonite families, to serve and to carry loads. ²⁵ They will carry the sheets of the tabernacle and the tent of appointment, its covering and the azure cover which is on it from above and the portiere of the opening of the tent of appointment, ²⁶ also the slung sheets of the court and the portiere of the opening of the gate of the court which is surrounding the tabernacle and the altar, and their cords and all the furnishings for their service; in all which is to be done with regard to them, they will serve. ²⁷ At the bidding of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonite, for all their load and for all their service. And you will commit to them as a charge all of their load. ²⁸ This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonite in the tent of appointment. And their charge is in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. ²⁹ As for the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' house you shall muster them. ³⁰ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to the Levitical host to serve in the service of the tent of appointment. ³¹ This is the charge of their load for all their service in the tent of appointment:the hollow tapers of the tabernacle with its bars, its columns and its sockets, ³² the columns around the court with their sockets, their pegs and their cords with all their furnishings and with all their servicing. By names shall you check all the furnishings of the charge of their load. ³³ This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari for all their service in the tent of appointment in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

⁶ So Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. ⁷ Two of the carts and four of the oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon corresponding to their service, ⁸ and four of the carts and eight of the oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, corresponding to their service, by means of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

¹¹ Now Christ, coming along a Chief Priest of the impending good things through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation;"

²⁸ Wherefore, accepting an unshakable kingdom, we may have grace through which we may be offering divine service in a way well pleasing to God, with piety and dread,

¹⁴ being aware that my tabernacle is to be put off swiftly according as our Lord, Jesus Christ, also makes evident to me."

⁵ These are the names of the men who shall stand with you:for Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;"

³⁵ and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five year-old he-lambs. This was the approach present of Elizur son of Shedeur.

⁵ Reuben, firstborn of Israel, and the sons of Reuben:through Hanoch, the Hanochite family; through Pallu the Palluite family;" ⁶ through Hezron the Hezronite family; through Carmi the Carmite family. ⁷ These were the Reubenite families. Their mustered ones were forty-three thousand seven hundred thirty. ⁸ The sons of Pallu were Eliab ⁹ and the sons of Eliab, Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. The same Dathan and Abiram were the called of the congregation who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the congregation of Korah when they strove against Yahwe. ¹⁰ and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with Korah in the death of that congregation when the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became like a warning banner. ¹¹ Yet the sons of Korah did not die. ¹² The sons of Simeon by their families:through Nemuel the Nemuelite family; through Jamin the Jaminite family; through Jachin the Jachinite family; ¹³ through Zerah the Zerahite family; through Shaul the Shaulite family. ¹⁴ These were the Simeonite families, twenty-two thousand two hundred. ¹⁵ The sons of Gad by their families:through Zephon the Zephonite family; through Haggi the Haggite family; through Shuni the Shunite family; ¹⁶ through Ozni the Oznite family; through Eri the Erite family; ¹⁷ through Arod the Arodite family; through Areli the Arelite family. ¹⁸ These were the families of the sons of Gad by their mustered ones, forty thousand five hundred.

⁶ for Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;"

³⁶ On the fifth day it was the prince for the sons of Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

¹⁴ for Gad, Eliasaph son of Reuel;"

¹⁴ As for the stock of Gad:The prince for the sons of Gad is Eliasaph son of Reuel;

⁴² On the sixth day it was the prince for the sons of Gad, Eliasaph son of Reuel.

¹⁷ Then the tent of appointment will journey with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the other camps. Just as they are encamping so shall they journey, each man on his own side under their standards.

²⁷ Belonging to Kohath were the Amramite family, the Izharite family, the Hebronite family and the Uzzielite family. These were those of the Kohathite families. ²⁸ According to the number of every male from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping charge of the holy place. ²⁹ The families of the sons of Kohath encamped at the flank of the tabernacle, southward. ³⁰ And the prince of their fathers' house for the Kohathite families was Elizaphan son of Uzziel. ³¹ And their charge was the coffer and the table and the lampstand and the altars and the furnishings of the holy place with which they shall minister and the portiere and all its service. ³² And the prince of the Levite princes was Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, with the supervision of those keeping charge of the holy place.

⁴ This is the carrier service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment:the holy of holies. ⁵ For Aaron will come in, and his sons, when the camp is to journey, and they will take down the portiere curtain and cover the coffer of the testimony with it. ⁶ They will put on it a cover of azure hide and spread over it a cloth wholly of blue from above and put its poles in place. ⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it. ⁸ Then they will spread over them a cloth of double-dipped crimson, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ⁹ They will take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the luminary, its lamps and its snuffers, its fire-pans and all its oil vessels with which they minister to it. ¹⁰ Then they will put it and all its furnishings into a cover of azure hide and put it on the slider bar. ¹¹ Also on the golden altar shall they spread a blue cloth, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ¹² They will take all the furnishings of the ministry with which they minister in the holy place and wrap them in a blue cloth and cover them with a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹³ Then they will degrease the copper altar, spread over it a purple clot. ¹⁴ and put on it all its furnishings with which they minister on it, the fire-pans, the forks and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls, all the furnishings of the altar; they will spread over it a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. And they will take a purple cloth and cover the laver and its base and put them into a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things with all the furnishings of the holy things when the camp is to journey, then afterward the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. Yet they shall not touch the holy things lest they die. These are the load of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment. ¹⁶ Under the supervision of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the luminary, the incense of spices, the regular approach present and the anointing oil; he has the supervision over the whole tabernacle and all that is in it, among the holy things and its furnishings.

²⁰ Yet they shall not come in to see the sanctuary in dismantling, for they would die.

⁹ Yet to the sons of Kohath he gave none, for the carrier service of the holy of holies was on them; on their shoulders they carried it.

¹⁷ Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari decamped, the carriers of the tabernacle.

² Then said David, `None [are] to carry the ark of Elohim, except the Levites, for on them has Yahweh fixed to carry the ark of Elohim, and to serve Him--unto the eon..

¹² and said to them, `You [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, and you have brought up the ark of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, unto [the place] I have prepared for it;" ¹³ because at the first [it was] not you, Yahweh our Elohim made a breach upon us, because we sought Him not according to the ordinance.. ¹⁴ And the priests and the Levites sanctify themselves, to bring up the ark of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel;" ¹⁵ and sons of the Levites bear the ark of Elohim, as Moses commanded, according to the word of Yahweh, on their shoulder, with staves, above them.

¹⁹ And refusing is his father and saying, "I know, my son! I know! Moreover, he shall become a people, and he shall become great. Howbeit, his smaller brother shall be greater than he. And his seed shall become a fullness of the nations.

¹⁰ for the sons of Joseph:for Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;"

¹⁸ The standard of the camp of Ephraim, by their militia hosts, is westward. The prince for the sons of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud;" ¹⁹ his militia host and their mustered ones are forty thousand five hundred. ²⁰ Those encamping next to him are the stock of Manasseh. The prince for the sons of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur; ²¹ his militia host and their mustered ones are thirty-two thousand two hundred. ²² As for the stock of Benjamin:The prince for the sons of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni; ²³ his militia host and their mustered ones are thirty-five thousand four hundred. ²⁴ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Ephraim are a hundred eight thousand one hundred, by their militia hosts. As third ones shall they journey.

⁴⁸ On the seventh day it was the prince for the sons of Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud.

²³ The sons of Issachar by their families:through Tola the Tolaite family; through Puah the Puanite family; ²⁴ through Jashub the Jashubite family; through Shimron the Shimronite family. ²⁵ These were the families of Issachar by their mustered ones, sixty-four thousand three hundred. ²⁶ The sons of Zebulun by their families:through Sered the Seredite family; through Elon the Elonite family; through Jahleel the Jahleelite family; ²⁷ These were the families of the Zebulunite by their mustered ones, sixty thousand five hundred. ²⁸ The sons of Joseph by their families:Manasseh and Ephraim. ²⁹ The sons of Manasseh were:through Machir the Machirite family, and Machir begat Gilead; through Gilead the Gileadite family. ³⁰ These were the sons of Gilead:through Jezer the Jezerite family; through Helek the Helekite family; ³¹ through Asriel the Asrielite family; through Shechem the Shechemite family; ³² through Shemida the Shemidaite family; through Hepher the Hepherite family. ³³ Zelophehad son of Hepher came to have no sons but rather daughters. And the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were:Malhah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah. ³⁴ These were the families of Manasseh by their mustered ones, fifty two thousand seven hundred. ³⁵ These were the sons of Ephraim by their families:through Shuthelah the Shuthelahite family; through Becher the Becherite family, through Tahan the Tahanite family. These were the sons of Shuthelah. ³⁶ through Eran the Eranite family. ³⁷ These were the families of the sons of Ephraim by their mustered ones, thirty-two thousand five hundred. These were the sons of Joseph by their families. ³⁸ The sons of Benjamin by their families:through Bela the Belaite family; through Ashbel the Ashbelite family; through Ahiram the Ahiramite family; ³⁹ through Shupham the Shuphamite family; through Hupham the Huphamite family. ⁴⁰ The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman:through Ard the Ardite family; through Naaman the Naamite family. ⁴¹ These were the sons of Benjamin by their families, and their mustered ones were forty-five thousand six hundred.

¹ {An Asaphic Psalm{ O Shepherd of Israel, do give ear; You Who are leading Joseph like a flock, Who are dwelling over the cherubim, do shine forth." ² Before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh, Do rouse Your mastery, And do come to our salvation."

⁵⁴ On the eighth day it was the prince for the sons of Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

¹¹ for Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;"

⁶⁰ On the ninth day it was the prince for the sons of Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni.

¹⁶ Dan shall adjudicate his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. ¹⁷ Become shall Dan a serpent on a way, a horned snake on a path, that bites the heels of a horse, and fall shall its rider backward.

¹² for Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;"

²⁵ The standard of the camp of Dan is northward, by their militia hosts. The prince of the sons of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;" ²⁶ his militia host and their mustered ones are sixty-two thousand seven hundred. ²⁷ And those encamping next to him are the stock of Asher. The prince for the sons of Asher is Pagiel son of Ocran; ²⁸ his militia host and their mustered ones are forty-one thousand five hundred. ²⁹ As for the stock of Naphtali:The prince for the sons of Naphtali is Ahida son of Enan; ³⁰ his militia host and their mustered ones are fifty-three thousand four hundred. ³¹ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Dan are a hundred fifty seven thousand six hundred. As the last shall they journey under their standards.

⁶⁶ On the tenth day it was the prince for the sons of Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

⁴² These were the sons of Dan by their families:through Shuham the Shuhamite family. These were the families of Dan by their families. ⁴³ All the families of the Shuhamites by their mustered ones were sixty-four thousand four hundred. ⁴⁴ The sons of Asher by their families:through Jimna the Jimnite family; through Ishvi the Ishvite family; through Beriah the Beriite family, ⁴⁵ through sons of Beriah, through Heber the Heberite family; through Malchiel the Malchielite family. ⁴⁶ And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sherach. ⁴⁷ These were the families of the sons of Asher by their mustered ones, fifty-three thousand four hundred. ⁴⁸ The sons of Naphtali by their families:through Jahzeel the Jahzeelite family; through Guni the Gunite family; ⁴⁹ through Jezer the Jezerite family; through Shillem the Shillemite family. ⁵⁰ These were the families of Naphtali by their families, and their mustered ones were forty-five thousand four hundred. ⁵¹ These were the mustered ones of the sons of Israel:six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.

¹⁷ You are to remember what Amalek did to you along the main road when you came forth from Egypt, ¹⁸ that he met you on the road and curtailed from you all the stragglers behind you when you were faint and weary; and he was not fearful of Elohim.

⁹ and he who is armed is going before the priests blowing the trumpets, and he who is gathering up is going after the ark, going on and blowing with the trumpets;"

¹² For not with nervous haste shall you fare forth, and by fleeing, you shall not go, for Yahweh shall go before you, and your Gatherer is the Elohim of Israel. The Elohim of the entire earth shall He be called."

⁸ Then your light shall be rent as the dawn, and your longevity with haste shall sprout. And there goes before you your righteousness. And the glory of Yahweh shall gather about you."

¹³ for Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;"

⁷² On the eleventh day it was the day for the prince for the sons of Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran.

¹⁵ for Naphtali, Ahida son of Enan.

⁷⁸ On the twelfth day it was the day for the prince for the sons of Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.

³⁴ Thus the sons of Israel did according to all which Yahweh had instructed Moses. So they encamped under their standards, and so they journeyed, each by his families along with his fathers' house.

³⁵ It came to be whenever the coffer journeyed Moses said:Arise, Yahweh, that Your enemies may scatter and those hating You may flee from Your presence. ³⁶ And whenever it stopped he said:Dwell, Yahweh, with the myriads of Israel's thousands.

⁴ the averring of the one hearing the sayings of El, Who is perceiving a vision from Him Who-Suffices, falling prostrate, yet his eyes are revealed. ⁵ How good are your tents, O Jacob! Your tabernacles, O Israel!"

¹⁰ Who is this who gazes forth like the dawn, Lovely as the moonbeam, Pure as the sunshine, Majestic as standard bearers?

³³ For God is not for turbulence, but peace, as in all the ecclesias of the saints."

⁴⁰ Yet let all occur respectably and in order.

⁵ For even if, in flesh, I am absent, nevertheless, in spirit, I am with you, rejoicing and observing your order and the stability of your faith in Christ."

⁷ And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "To your seed am I giving this land.And building is Abram there an altar to Yahweh, Who appeared to him.

¹⁵ for all the land which you are seeing, to you am I giving it, and to your seed, till the eon.

¹⁸ In that day Yahweh contracted a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I give this land, from the stream of Egypt as far as the great stream, the stream Euphrates,

¹² And you said, `Good, yea, good will I do to you, and I make your seed as the sand of the sea, which is not being numbered for multitude..

¹⁸ When they came to Reuel, their father, he said: For what reason did you hasten to come in today?

¹ As for Moses, he had become a shepherd of the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. Once he was leading the flock behind the wilderness and came to the Mount of the One, Elohim, to Horeb.

⁸ Hence I have descended to rescue them from the hand of Egypt and to bring them up from that land to a land good and wide, to a land gushing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

⁷ I will take you to Me as a people. I will become to you as Elohim, and you will realize that I am Yahweh your Elohim, Who brought you forth from beneath the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ I will bring you to the land which I lifted up My hand in swearing to give it to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a tenancy. I am Yahweh.

¹ Jethro, the priest of Midian, father-in-law of Moses, heard of all that Elohim had done for Moses and for Israel, His people, when Yahweh had brought Israel forth from Egypt.

²⁷ Then Moses dismissed his father-in-law; so he went by himself to his land.

¹⁹ El is not a man that He should lie. Nor a son of humanity that He should feel regret. Does He say it and then not do it? Or speak and then not carry it out?

¹⁶ And the sons of the Kenite, father-in-law of Moses, have gone up out of the city of palms with the sons of Judah [to] the wilderness of Judah, which [is] in the south of Arad, and they go and dwell with the people.

¹¹ And Heber the Kenite has been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretches out his tent unto the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.

⁶ and Saul said unto the Kenite, `Go, turn aside, go down from the midst of Amalek, lest I consume you with it, and you did kindness with all the sons of Israel, in their going up out of Egypt;' and the Kenite turns aside from the midst of Amalek.

⁸ Taste and see that Yahweh is good; Happy is the master who takes refuge in Him.

³ And go many peoples and say, "Go, and we will ascend to the mount of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, and He will direct us in His ways, and we will go in His paths.For from Zion shall fare forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem."

⁵ [To] Zion they ask the way, Thitherward [are] their faces:Come in, and we are joined unto Yahweh, A covenant eonian--not forgotten."

²¹ And the dwellers of five cities shall go to another city, saying, We are going assuredly to beseech the face of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of hosts; I am going, moreover." ²² And many peoples and staunch nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem, and to beseech the face of Yahweh." ²³ Thus says Yahweh of hosts:In those days ten mortals, from all the languages of the nations, will take fast hold. And they will take fast hold of the hem of a man, a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we hear that Elohim is with you."

⁵ And He does not give him any allotment to enjoy in it, nor even a platform for a foot. "And He promises to give it to him for a tenure and to his seed after him, there being no child of his."

² in expectation of life eonian, which God, Who does not lie, promises before times eonian,

¹⁸ that by two immutable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong consolation, who are fleeing for refuge to lay hold of the expectation lying before us,

¹ Now saying is Yahweh to Abram, "Go you from your land and from your kindred and from your father's house to the land which I shall show you.

³⁰ And now, go, yea, go, for you long longingly for the household of your father. Why have you stolen my elohim?

¹⁵ So Naomi said to Ruth, Behold, your sister-in-law has turned back to her people and to her elohim. Turn back after your sister-in-law. ¹⁶ Ruth replied, You must not persuade me to forsake you, to turn away from following you; for wherever you go I shall go, and wherever you lodge I shall lodge. Your people will be my people, and your Elohim my Elohim. ¹⁷ Where you die, I shall die; and there I shall be entombed. Thus may Yahweh do to me and thus add to it if anything but death parts me from you.

¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and see, and stretch out your ear, And forget your people and the house of your father."

²⁹ Yet he, answering, said, 'I do not want to.' Yet subsequently, regretting it, he went forth."

²⁶ If anyone is coming to Me and is not hating his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and still more his soul besides, he can not be My disciple."

¹⁶ So that we, from now on, are acquainted with no one according to flesh. Yet even if we have known Christ according to flesh, nevertheless now we know Him so no longer."

⁸ By faith Abraham, being called, obeys, coming out into the place which he was about to obtain to enjoy as an allotment, and came out, not versed in where he is coming."

¹³ In faith died all these, not being requited with the promises, but perceiving them ahead and saluting them, and avowing that they are strangers and expatriates on the earth. "

¹⁵ I became eyes to the blind, And feet to the lame was I.

⁸ You said, I shall make you contemplate, And direct you in the way that you should go; I will give counsel with My eye upon you."

¹⁴ For the body also is not one member, but many." ¹⁵ If the foot should be saying, "Seeing that I am not a hand, I am not of the body,not for this is it not the body." ¹⁶ And if the ear should be saying, "Seeing that I am not an eye, I am not of the bodynot for this is it not of the body." ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where the scent? ¹⁸ Yet now God placed the members, each one of them, in the body according as He wills. " ¹⁹ Now if it were all one member, where were the body? ²⁰ Yet now there are, indeed, many members, yet one body." ²¹ Yet the eye can not say to the hand, "I have no need of you,or, again, the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."

² Bear one another's burdens, and thus fill up the law of Christ."

¹⁸ the One executing judgment of orphan and widow, the One loving the sojourner, so as to give him bread and garment.

²⁷ All the limits of the earth shall remember and return to Yahweh, And all the families of the nations shall bow down before Him." ²⁸ For Yahweh's is the kingdom, And He is the One ruling among the nations." ²⁹ Yea, to Him shall bow down All those about to be sleeping in the earth; Before Him shall crouch All those descending to the soil. And he who did not keep his soul alive--" ³⁰ His seed shall serve Him; It shall be recounted about Yahweh To the generation that is coming. ³¹ And they shall tell of His righteousness To a people about to be born. Declaring that He has done this.

⁵ May the peoples acclaim You, O Elohim; May the peoples acclaim You--all of them!" ⁶ The earth, it has given its crop; Elohim, our Elohim, is blessing us." ⁷ Elohim is blessing us, And all the limits of the earth shall fear Him. {Permanent{ "

³ That which we have seen and heard we are reporting to you also, that you too may be having fellowship with us, and yet this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ."

³ Moses, he ascended to the One, Elohim. Then Yahweh called to him from the mountain, saying: Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob and tell to the sons of Israel,

¹⁷ Now the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was as a devouring fire on the summit of the mountain, to the eyes of the sons of Israel. ¹⁸ So Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and ascended into the mountain. Moses came to be on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

¹⁴ And He said: My presence, shall it go that I may give rest to you? ¹⁵ So he said to him: If Your presence is not going, do not bring us up hence!"

¹² So the sons of Israel decamped for their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, until the cloud tabernacled in the wilderness of Paran.

³³ Who was going before you in the way to explore for you a place for you to encamp, in fire by night, to show you the way by which you should go, and in a cloud by day.

⁹ When I ascended to the mountain to take down the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that Yahweh contracted with you, I dwelt on the mountain forty days and forty nights. Bread I did not eat, and water I did not drink.

²⁶ You are to take this scroll of the law, and you must place it by the side of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh your Elohim, and it will come to be there as a testimony against you,

² And it comes to pass, at the end of three days, that the authorities pass over into the midst of the camp, ³ and command the people, saying, `When you see the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your Elohim, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you journey from your place, and have gone after it;" <sup>4</sup> only, a distance is between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure; you do not come near unto it, so that you know the way in which you go, for you have not passed over in the way heretofore.. <sup>5</sup> And Joshua said unto the people, `Sanctify yourselves, for to-morrow does Yahweh do in your midst wonders.. ⁶ And Joshua speaks unto the priests, saying, `Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people;' and they take up the ark of the covenant, and go before the people.

¹¹ lo, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is passing over before you into Jordan;" ¹² and now, take for you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, one man--one man for a tribe;" ¹³ and it has been, at the resting of the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of Yahweh, Lord of all the earth, in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan are cut off--the waters which are coming down from above--and they stand--one heap.. ¹⁴ And it comes to pass, in the journeying of the people from their tents to pass over the Jordan, and of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, ¹⁵ and at those bearing the ark coming in unto the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark have been dipped in the extremity of the waters (and the Jordan is full over all its banks all the days of harvest) -. ¹⁶ that the waters stand; those coming down from above have risen--one heap, very far above Adam the city, which [is] at the side of Zaretan; and those going down by the sea of the plain, the Salt Sea, have been completely cut off; and the people have passed through over-against Jericho;" ¹⁷ and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh stand on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan--established, and all Israel are passing over on dry ground till that all the nation has completed to pass over the Jordan.

²⁷ And the sons of Israel ask of Yahweh, --and there [is] the ark of the covenant of Elohim in those days,

³ And the people comes in unto the camp, and the elders of Israel say, `Why has Yahweh smitten us to-day before the Philistines? we take unto us from Shiloh the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and it comes into our midst, and He does save us out of the hand of our enemies..

¹¹ As I swear in My anger, They assuredly shall not enter into My resting place!"

¹² when He says to them:"This is the resting place. Give rest to the faint. And this is the respite.Yet they are not willing to hearken,

¹ Thus says Yahweh, "The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house which you are building for Me? And where is this place of My rest?

¹⁶ And it has come to pass, when you are multiplied, And have been fruitful in the land, In those days--an affirmation of Yahweh, They say not any more, `The ark of the covenant of Yahweh,' Nor does it go up on the heart, Nor do they remember concerning it, Nor do they inspect, nor is it made again."

¹⁶ Thus said Yahweh:Stand you by the ways and see, and ask for paths of old, Where [is] this--the good way? and go you in it, And find rest for yourselves. And they say, `We do not go.'"

⁸ Lo, I am bringing them in from the north country, And have gathered them from the sides of the earth, Among them [are] blind and lame, Conceiving and travailing one--together, A great assembly--they turn back hither." ⁹ With weeping they come in, And with supplications I bring them, I cause them to go unto streams of waters, In a right way--they stumble not in it, For I have been to Israel for a father, And Ephraim--My first-born [is] he."

⁶ In that day I did lift up My hand to them, To bring them forth from the land of Egypt, Unto a land that I spied out for them, Flowing with milk and honey, A beauty it [is] to all the lands,

²⁸ Hither to Me, all who are toiling and laden, and I will be giving you rest." ²⁹ Lift My yoke upon you and be learning from Me, for meek am I and humble in heart, and you shall be finding rest in your souls, ³⁰ for My yoke is kindly and My load is light."

³ Then we who believe are entering into the stopping, according as He has declared, "As I swear in My indignation, 'If they shall be entering into My stopping-!'although the works occur from the disruption of the world." ⁴ For He has declared somewhere concerning the seventh thus: And God stops "on the seventh day from all His works." ⁵ And in this again, "If they shall be entering into My stopping-!" ⁶ Since, then, it is left for some to be entering into it, and those to whom the evangel was formerly brought did not enter because of stubbornness, ⁷ He is again specifying a certain day, "Today"-saying in David after so much time, according as has been declared before, "Today, if ever His voice you should be hearing, You should not be hardening your hearts." ⁸ For if Joshua causes them to stop, He would not have spoken concerning another day after these things." ⁹ Consequently a sabbatism is left for the people of God. ¹⁰ For he who is entering into His stopping, he also stops from his works even as God from His own." ¹¹ We should be endeavoring, then, to be entering into that stopping, lest anyone should be falling into the same example of stubbornness."

²⁰ Now may the God of peace, Who is leading up our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, from among the dead by the blood of the eonian covenant, ²¹ then Yahweh was going before them by day in a column of cloud to guide them along the way, and by night in a column of fire, to give light for them to go by day and night. ²² The column of cloud by day and the column of fire by night did not remove from the presence of the people.

¹⁵ On the day the tabernacle was set up the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony. And in the evening it was over the tabernacle as the appearance of fire until the morning. ¹⁶ So it was continually; the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night.

¹² And by a pillar of cloud You have led them by day, and by a pillar of fire by night, to lighten to them the way in which they go.

¹⁹ and You, in Your abundant mercies, have not forsaken them in the wilderness--the pillar of the cloud has not turned aside from off them by day, to lead them in the way, and the pillar of the fire by night, to give light to them and the way in which they go.

³⁹ He spread a cloud as a blanket, And a fire to light up the night."

¹⁰ yet repaying the one hating Him right to His face, so as to destroy him. He shall not delay toward one hating Him right to His face; He shall repay him.

⁴¹ when I whet My flashing sword and My hand lays hold on judgment, I shall return vengeance to My foes, and to My haters shall I make repayment.

¹ {A Davidic Psalm, A Song{ Elohim shall arise! His enemies shall be scattered, And those hating Him shall flee from His presence!" ² Like the whisking away of smoke shall they be whisked away; Like the melting of wax from the face of fire, So shall the wicked perish from the presence of Elohim."

⁸ Do arise, O Yahweh, to Your resting place, You and the coffer of Your strength."

¹² Woe! A clamor of many peoples! As the clamor of seas are they clamoring. And the tumult of many folkstems! As the tumult of abundant waters are they tumulting. ¹³ The folkstems shall be tumulted as the tumult of many waters, yet He rebukes them, and they flee far off, and they will be pursued as the trash of the winnowers before the wind, and as a tumbleweed before a sweeping whirlwind." ¹⁴ At eventide comes mourning. Ere morning, there is no one. This is the portion of our robbers, and the lot of our plunderers."

⁹ Rouse! Rouse! Clothe yourself with strength, arm of Yahweh! Rouse as in days aforetime, the generations of the eons! Are not You He, the Hewer of the audacious, the Wounder of the monster?

⁶⁰ And blessing are they Rebecca, their sister, and saying to her, "Our sister are you. May you become thousands of myriads, and may your seed tenant the gateway of those hating them.

¹⁰ Yahweh your Elohim, He has made you multiply, and behold, you are today like the stars of the heavens for multitude.

¹³ Do turn back, O Yahweh! How long? Show Yourself merciful over Your servants." ¹⁴ Satisfy us in the morning with Your benignity, That we may be jubilant and rejoice through all our days." ¹⁵ Make us rejoice according to the days You humbled us, The years we have seen evil." ¹⁶ May Your deeds be seen by Your servants, And Your honor by their sons." ¹⁷ Let the pleasantness of Yahweh our Elohim be over us; Do establish the work of our hands for us; Yea, the work of our hands, do establish it."

¹⁷ Why are You leading us astray, Yahweh, from Your ways? Making our heart indurate to Your fear? Turn back, on account of Your servants, the tribes of Your allotment."
