⁴⁸ Now Jesus said to him, "Judas, with a kiss are you giving up the Son of Mankind?

⁹ And Joab said to Amasa, `Are you [in] peace, my brother?' and the right hand of Joab lays hold on the beard of Amasa to give a kiss to him;" ¹⁰ and Amasa has not been watchful of the sword that [is] in the hand of Joab, and he smites him with it unto the fifth [rib], and sheds out his bowels to the earth, and he has not repeated [it] to him, and he dies; and Joab and Abishai his brother have pursued after Sheba son of Bichri.

²¹ Words from his mouth are slicker than clotted cream, Yet an attack is planned in his heart; His words are more soothing than oil, Yet they are unloosed swords!"

Hold Him." ⁴⁹ And immediately, coming to Jesus, he said, "Rejoice, Rabbi!And he kisses Him fondly." ⁵⁰ Yet Jesus said to him, "Comrade, for what are you present?Then, approaching, they laid hands on Jesus and hold Him."

⁴⁴ Now he who is giving Him up had given them a signal, saying, "Whomever I should be kissing, He it is. Hold Him, and lead Him away securely." ⁴⁵ And, coming, straightway coming to Him, he is saying, "Rabbi, Rabbi,and he kisses Him fondly." ⁴⁶ Now they lay their hands on Him and hold Him.
