¹⁴ `And now, fear you Yahweh, and serve Him, in perfection and in truth, and turn aside the elohims which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt, and serve you Yahweh;"

¹ And coming is Abram to be ninety nine years of age. And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "I am the El-Who-Suffices. Walk before Me and become flawless.

⁵ Said not he to me, `My sister is she'? And she, moreover, said, `My brother is he.' In the sincerity of my heart and in the innocency of my palms, I did this. ⁶ And saying is the Elohim to him in the dream, "Moreover, I know that, in the sincerity of your heart you did this, and I, moreover, am keeping you back from sinning against Me. Therefore, I did not allow you to touch her.

² And saying is Jacob to his household and to all who are with him, "Take away the foreign elohim which are in your midst, and clean yourselves, and change your garments.

³ You shall not come to have other elohim in preference to Me. ⁴ You shall not make for yourself a carving nor any representation of that in the heavens above or that on the earth beneath, or that in the waters beneath the earth.

⁷ No longer shall they sacrifice their sacrifices to hairy goat-demons after whom they have been prostituting. An eonian statute shall this become for them throughout their generations.

¹² And now, Israel, what is Yahweh your Elohim asking of you, save to fear Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in all His ways, to love Him and to serve Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹³ Flawless shall you come to be with Yahweh your Elohim.

² And Joshua said unto all the people, `Thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, Beyond the River have your fathers dwelt of old--Terah father of Abraham and father of Nachor--and they serve other elohims;"

²³ and, now, turn aside the elohims of the stranger which [are] in your midst, and incline your heart unto Yahweh, Elohim of Israel..

²⁴ only, fear you Yahweh, and you have served Him in truth with all your heart, for see that which He has made great with you;"

³ `I pray You, O Yahweh, remember, I pray You, how I have walked habitually before You in truth, and with a perfect heart, and that which [is] good in Your eyes I have done;' and Hezekiah weeps--a great weeping.

¹¹ that You enjoined on us by means of Your servants the prophets, saying, The land that you are entering to tenant it, a land of impurity is it, because of the impurity of the peoples of the countries and their abhorrences with which they have filled it from edge to edge with their uncleanness.

¹ There was a man in the country of Uz. Job was his name. And this man was flawless and upright, fearing Elohim and withdrawing from evil.

²⁸ And He said to mankind, Behold, the fear of Yahweh, it is wisdom, And to withdraw from evil is understanding.

¹⁰ The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom; All who practice it have a good insight. His praise is standing into the future.

¹ Happy are those whose way is flawless, Who are walking in the law of Yahweh."

⁸⁰ May my heart become flawless in Your statutes, That I may not be ashamed."

⁴ For with You is pardon That You may be devoutly feared.

⁷ And I say unto them, Let each cast away the detestable things of his eyes, And with the idols of Egypt be not defiled, I [am] Yahweh your Elohim." ⁸ And--they rebel against Me, And have not been willing to hearken to Me, Each, the detestable things of their eyes, They have not cast away, And the idols of Egypt have not forsaken, And I say--to pour out My fury on them, To complete Mine anger against them, In the midst of the land of Egypt."

¹⁸ And I say to their sons in the wilderness:In the statutes of your fathers you walk not, And their judgments you do not observe, And with their idols you are not defiled."

³ And they go a-whoring in Egypt, In their youth they have gone a-whoring, There they have bruised their breasts, And there they have dealt with the loves of their virginity."

⁵ Afterward are the sons of Israel returning, and they seek Yahweh their Elohim, and David their king, and they come in awe to Yahweh and to His goodness, in the latter days."

²⁵ Have you brought close to Me sacrifices and approach presents in the wilderness forty years, house of Israel? ²⁶ Or have you borne the booth of your king and the pedestal of your images--the star of your elohim which you made for yourselves?

¹⁵ Now that in the ideal earth, these are they who, in a heart ideal and good, hearing the word, are retaining it and are bearing fruit with endurance."

²³ But coming is the hour, and now is, when the true worshipers will be worshiping the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also is seeking such to be worshiping Him." ²⁴ God is spirit, and those who are worshiping Him must be worshiping in spirit and truth."

³¹ Indeed, then, the ecclesia down the whole of Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified, and, going on in the fear of the Lord and the consolation of the holy spirit, multiplied."

¹² For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, yet more superabundantly toward you."

²⁴ Grace be with all who are loving our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption! Amen!
