²⁹ When He is quiet, who can condemn? When He conceals His face, who can regard Him? Yet He is over a nation and over humanity alike.

¹ And it comes to pass, when the king sat in his house, and Yahweh has given rest to him round about, from all his enemies,

⁹ And it comes to pass, in the fourth year of king Hezekiah--it [is] the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel--come up has Shalmaneser king of Asshur against Samaria, and lays siege to it, ¹⁰ and they capture it at the end of three years; in the sixth year of Hezekiah--it [is] the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel--has Samaria been captures, ¹¹ and the king of Asshur removes Israel to Asshur, and placed them in Halah, and in Habor [by] the river Gozan, and [in] cities of the Medes, ¹² because that they have not hearkened to the voice of Yahweh their Elohim, and transgress His covenant--all that He commanded Moses, servant of Yahweh--yea, they have not hearkened nor done [it].

¹⁴ Also, all the heads of the priests, and the people, having multiplied to commit a trespass according to all the abominations of the nations, and they defile the house of Yahweh that He has sanctified in Jerusalem. ¹⁵ And Yahweh, Elohim of their fathers, sends unto them by the hand of His messengers--rising early and sending--for He has had pity on His people, and on His habitation, ¹⁶ and they are mocking at the messengers of Elohim, and despising His words, and acting deceitfully with His prophets, till the going up of the fury of Yahweh against His people--till there is no healing. ¹⁷ And He causes to go up against them the king of the Chaldeans, and he slays their chosen ones by the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and has had no pity on young man and virgin, old man and very aged--the whole He has given into his hand.

¹⁴ Behold, He demolishes, and it shall not be rebuilt; He locks up a man, and it shall not be opened.

⁸ Behold, I go to the east, and He is not there, And back again, and I cannot detect Him. ⁹ When He is working to the left, I do not perceive Him; He goes back to the right, yet I do not see Him.

¹³ Yet He is One, and who can turn Him back? What His soul has yearned for He shall do.

¹ Then Job continued to lift up his discourse and said: ² O that I were as in former months, As in the days when He, Eloah was guarding me, ³ When He caused His lamp to irradiate over my head, And by His light I went through the darkness,

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ How long, O Yahweh? Shall You forget me permanently? How long shall You conceal Your face from me?

⁹ O do not conceal Your face from me, O do not turn aside Your servant in anger, You Who have become my Help! O do not abandon me, And do not forsake me, O Elohim of my salvation."

⁷ O Yahweh, in Your benevolence, You have made my mountain to stand in strength. If You conceal Your face, I become flustered;"

⁷ Quickly answer me, O Yahweh; my spirit is exhausted; O do not conceal Your face from me, Or I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt."

³ And this comes to be in the day Yahweh gives you rest from your grief, and from your disturbance, and from the hard service in which you served." ⁴ And you lift up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say in that day, "How ceases the exactor! Ceases the audacious city!" ⁵ Yahweh has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of rulers." ⁶ Smitten are peoples in a rage, a smiting barring withdrawal. Swaying, in anger, over nations, pursuing, failing to keep back." ⁷ At rest, quiet, is the entire earth. Crash do they into jubilation." ⁸ Moreover, the firs rejoice for you, the cedars of Lebanon:"Since you lie down, the cutter is not coming up against us."

³ It is formed to support the preservation of welfare, welfare that trusts in You."

¹⁷ And it comes that the yield of righteousness shall be welfare, and the service of righteousness, quietness and trust till the eon."

⁸ And it has come to pass, the nation and the kingdom that do not serve him--Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon--and that which puts not its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, with sword, and with famine, and with pestilence, I lay a charge on that nation--an affirmation of Yahweh--till I consume them by his hand."

²⁷ Peace I am leaving with you. My peace I am giving to you. Not according as the world is giving to you, am I giving to you. Let not your heart be disturbed, neither let it be timid."

³¹ What then, shall we declare to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? ³² Surely, He Who spares not His own Son, but gives Him up for us all, how shall He not, together with Him, also, be graciously granting us all? ³³ Who will be indicting God's chosen ones? God, the Justifier? ³⁴ Who is the Condemner? Christ Jesus, the One dying, yet rather being roused, Who is also at God's right hand, Who is pleading also for our sakes?

⁷ and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus."
