¹³ Lo, as clouds he comes up, And as a hurricane his chariots, Lighter than eagles have been his horses, Woe to us, for we have been spoiled."

⁴⁹ Yahweh shall lift up against you a nation from afar, from the end of the earth, just as the vulture swoops down, a nation whose tongue you have not heard,

²⁸ whose arrows are whetted, and all their bows are bent. The hoofs of his horses as rock are reckoned, and his chariot wheels as a sweeping whirlwind."

⁵ coming from a land afar, from the end of the heavens, Yahweh and the instruments of His menace, to harm the entire earth."

¹ LOAD OF EGYPT "Behold Yahweh riding on a thick cloud! It is fleet, and He comes to Egypt. And the forbidden idols of Egypt are swayed by His presence, and the heart of Egypt is melting within it."

¹⁵ For, behold! Yahweh shall come with fire! And as a sweeping whirlwind are His chariots, to return with fury, His anger, and His rebuke in blazes of fire."

³¹ For a voice as of a sick woman I have heard, Distress, as of one bringing forth a first-born, The voice of the daughter of Zion, She bewails herself, she spreads out her hands, `Woe to me now, for weary is my soul of slayers!'"

¹⁹ Woe to me for my breaking, Grievous has been my smiting, And I said, Only, this [is] my sickness, and I bear it."

¹⁹ Our pursuers have become fleeter than the vultures of the heavens; They dash after us upon the mountains; they lie in ambush for us in the wilderness.

⁴ The eastern animal is a lioness, and she has the wings of a vulture. Perceiving am I till her wings are scraped off, and she is tilted up from the earth and is set up on her feet as a mortal, and the heart of a mortal is being granted to her."

¹ To your mouth with the trumpet! One as a vulture is over the house of Yahweh, because they trespass against My covenant, and against My law they transgress."

³ Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in vigor, and verily He will not make innocent. Yahweh has His way in the sweeping whirlwind and in the horror, and a cloud is the dust of His feet."

³ The shield of his masters shall be reddened; the mortals of valor are in crimson. With the fiery flash of hub-blades is the chariot, in the day of its preparation, and the horsemen are caused to shiver." ⁴ In the streets the chariots are raving; they are prowling in the squares. Their appearance is as torches of fire; as lightnings are they running.

⁸ His horses are fleeter than leopards and sharper than evening wolves, and his horsemen are diffused; and his horsemen will come from far. They will fly as a vulture that hurries to eat."

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Mankind in heaven, and then all the tribes of the land shall grieve, and they shall see the Son of Mankind coming on the clouds of heaven with power and much glory."

⁷ Lo! He is coming with clouds, and every eye shall be seeing Him-those, also, who stab Him-and all the tribes of the land shall be grieving over Him. Yea! Amen!"
