¹² The maker of the earth by His power, The establisher of the world by His wisdom, Who, by His understanding, stretched forth the heavens,

¹ 1Created by the Elohim were the heavens and the earth.

⁶ And saying is the Elohim, "Become shall an atmosphere in the midst of the water, and coming is a separation between water and water. ⁷ And coming is it to be so. And making is the Elohim the atmosphere. And separating is He between the water which is under the atmosphere and the water which is above the atmosphere. ⁸ And calling is the Elohim the atmosphere "heavens." And seeing is the Elohim that it is good. And coming is it to be evening and coming to be morning, the second day. ⁹ And saying is the Elohim, "Flow together shall the water from under the heavens to one place, and appear shall the dry land." And coming is it to be so. And flowing together is the water under the heavens to one place, and appearing is the dry land.

⁸ Who alone is stretching out the heavens, And Who is treading on the high swells of the sea,

⁷ He stretched out the north over the waste, Hanging the earth over the decay.

⁴ Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell if you know with understanding. ⁵ Who determined its measurements--for surely you know! Or who stretched out a tape upon it? ⁶ On what were its sockets sunk? Or who directed its cornerstone in place, ⁷ When the stars of the morning jubilated together, And all the sons of Elohim shouted with joy?

² For He, on the seas He has founded it, And on the streams He has established it."

⁶ By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, And by the spirit of His mouth, all their host."

⁶⁹ And He built His Sanctuary like the heights of heaven, Like the earth that He founded for the eon."

¹ Yahweh reigns! With augustness is He clothed; Yahweh is clothed with strength; Thus has He belted Himself. Indeed, the habitance is established; It is immovable."

² You are muffled with light as a garment. Stretching out the heavens like a sheet,

²⁴ How numerous are Your works, O Yahweh! You have made all of them in wisdom; The earth is filled with Your achievements:"

⁹⁰ For generation after generation is Your faithfulness; You have established the earth, and it shall stand."

⁵ To the One making the heavens with understanding, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁶ To the One situating the earth above the waters, For His benignity is eonian;"

⁵ Happy is he who has the El of Jacob as his Help; His hopefulness is set on Yahweh his Elohim, ⁶ Maker of the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, The Guardian of truth for the eons;"

⁴ Praise Him, heavens of the heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens." ⁵ May they praise the Name of Yahweh, For He Himself determined, and they were created."

¹⁹ Yahweh, by wisdom, founded the earth; He established the heavens by comprehension."

⁴ Who has ascended the heavens and descended? Who has gathered the wind in both His hands? Who has tied up the waters in a garment? Who has confirmed all the limits of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, in case you know?

²² Who is sitting over the circle of the earth, and its dwellers are as grasshoppers? Who is stretching out as a thin gauze the heavens, and bagging them out as a tent to dwell in?

⁵ Thus says the El, Yahweh Elohim, Creator of the heavens, Who stretched them out, Who stamped the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people upon it, and spirit to those going in it:"

²⁴ Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and your Former from the belly:"I, Yahweh, am Maker of all, Who stretched out the heavens alone. When stamping out the earth, who was with Me?

¹² I, I made the earth, and I created humanity on it. I, My hands stretched out the heavens, and all their host I instruct."

¹⁸ For thus says Yahweh, Creator of the heavens; He is the Elohim, and Former of the earth, and its Maker, and He, He established it. He did not create it a chaos. He formed it to be indwelt. "I am Yahweh, and there is none else."

¹³ Indeed, My hand founded the earth, and My right handbreadth measured the heavens. I am calling to them, and they are standing together."

⁸ Thus says Yahweh, "In a season acceptable I answer you. And in a day of salvation I help you. And I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to set up the land, to allot the desolated allotments,

¹³ At the voice He gives forth, A multitude of waters [is] in the heavens, And He causes vapours to come up from the end of the earth, Lightnings for rain He has made, And brings out wind from His treasures."

¹⁷ `Ah, Lord Yahweh, lo, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power, and by Your stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for You:"

¹⁵ The maker of earth by His power, The establisher of the world by His wisdom, Who by His understanding stretched out the heavens, ¹⁶ At the voice He gives forth, A multitude of waters [are] in the heavens, And He causes vapours to come up from the end of the earth, Lightnings for rain He has made, And He brings out wind from His treasures." ¹⁷ Brutish has been every man by knowledge, Put to shame has been every refiner by a graven image, For false [is] his molten image, And there is no breath in them." ¹⁸ Vanity [are] they--work of errors, In the time of their inspection they perish." ¹⁹ Not like these [is] the portion of Jacob, For He [is] former of all things, And [Israel is] the rod of His inheritance, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name."

¹ The load, the word of Yahweh concerning Israel. Averring is Yahweh, Outstretcher of the heavens, and Founder of the earth, and Former of the spirit of the human within him,

³ All came into being through it, and apart from it not even one thing came into being which has come into being."

¹⁶ for in Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities, all is created through Him and for Him,
