Genesis 7:11 Cross References - CLV

¹¹ in the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month. On this day rent are all the springs of the vast submerged chaos, and the crevices of the heavens are opened,

⁷ And coming is it to be so. And making is the Elohim the atmosphere. And separating is He between the water which is under the atmosphere and the water which is above the atmosphere.

¹⁷ And I, behold Me bringing a deluge of water over the earth to wreck all flesh, which has in it the spirit of the living, from under the heavens. All that is in the earth shall expire.

² And being held in check are the springs of the submerged chaos and the crevices of the heavens, and being shut up is the downpour from the heavens,

² And the captain whom the king has, by whose hand he has been supported, answers the man of Elohim and said, `Lo, Yahweh is making windows in the heavens--shall this thing be?' and he said, `Lo, you are seeing it with your eyes, and thereof you do not eat..

¹⁹ and the captain answers the man of Elohim, and said, `And lo, Yahweh is making windows in the heavens--it is according to this word?' and he said, `Lo, you are seeing with your eyes, and thereof you do not eat;.

⁴ A people of sojourners has breached mine-shafts In places forgotten by the foot of man; Far from mortal men, they swing down on ropes and sway.

⁸ Who shut in the sea with double doors When it rushed forth, it came forth from the womb, ⁹ When I made a cloud its garment And murkiness its swaddling band, ¹⁰ When I set My statute upon it And broke bar and doors, ¹¹ When I said, Unto here shall you come but shall not proceed farther, And here a limit is set to the pride of your billows?

⁷ He is collecting the waters of the sea together as a waterspout, Bestowing the abyss in treasure vaults."

¹⁵ You Yourself rent open spring and watercourse; You Yourself dried up the perennial streams.

²³ Yet He enjoined the skies above, And He opened the double doors of the heavens." ²⁴ He rained on them manna to eat, And He gave them grain of the heavens."

²⁸ When He made the sky clouds firm above, When He set the springs of the abyss with strength, ²⁹ When He established for the sea its statutory limit, So that the waters may not pass beyond His bidding, When He delineated the foundations of the earth."

¹⁹ Smashed by smashing is the earth. Quashed by quashing is the earth. Slipped by slipping is the earth.

²² Me do you not fear, an affirmation of Yahweh? From My presence are you not pained? Who has made sand the border of the sea, A limit eonian, and it passes not over it, They shake themselves, and they are not able, Yea, sounded have its billows, and they pass not over."

¹⁶ At the voice He gives forth, A multitude of waters [are] in the heavens, And He causes vapours to come up from the end of the earth, Lightnings for rain He has made, And He brings out wind from His treasures."

¹⁹ For thus said the Lord Yahweh:In my making you a city wasted, Like cities that have not been inhabited, In bringing up against you the deep, Then covered you have the great waters."

⁵ And the Lord, Yahweh Elohim of hosts, is He Who is touching the land and it is dissolving. And all dwelling in it mourn. And it ascends as a waterway, all of it, and it drowns as the waterway of Egypt." ⁶ He Who is building His ascents in the heavens, and His structure over the earth--He founds it, He Who is calling to the waters of the sea, and is pouring them out on the surface of the earth, Yahweh, Elohim of hosts, is His name!"

¹⁰ Then bring the entire tithe to the treasure house, and viands will come to be in My house. And test Me, I pray, in this, says Yahweh of hosts, if I will not open for you crevices in the heavens and I empty for you a blessing till there is insufficient storage."

³⁸ For as they were in those days before the deluge, masticating and drinking and marrying and taking in marriage until the day on which Noah entered into the ark,

³ Now whenever they may be saying "Peace and security,then extermination is standing by them unawares, even as a pang over the pregnant, and they may by no means escape."
