¹⁶ By Myself I swear, averring is Yahweh, that, because you have done this thing and have not kept back your son, your only one, from Me,

² And make you will I into a great nation, and bless you will I and make your name great, and become must you a blessing.

⁹ That He contracted with Abraham, And by His oath to Isaac."

²³ By Myself I swear. From My mouth fares forth righteousness, and My word shall not be recalled. For to Me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall acclaim to Elohim."

¹³ For, by Myself, I have sworn, An affirmation of Yahweh, That for a desolation, for a reproach, For a waste, and for a reviling--is Bozrah, And all her cities are for wastes eonian."

¹⁴ Sworn has Yahweh of Hosts by Himself, That, Surely I have filled you [with] men as the cankerworm, And they have cried against you--shouting."

⁸ My Lord Yahweh swears by His soul. Averring is Yahweh, Elohim of hosts:I am abhorring all the pomp of Jacob, and his citadels I hate, and I take away the city and its fullness."

⁷³ The oath which He swears to Abraham our father,

¹³ For not through law is the promise to Abraham, or to his Seed, for him to be enjoyer of the allotment of the world, but through faith's righteousness." ¹⁴ For if those of law are enjoyers of the allotment, faith has been made void and the promise has been nullified,

¹³ For God, promising Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, swears by Himself, ¹⁴ saying, "If, in sooth, it is blessing, I shall be blessing you, and multiplying, I shall be multiplyingyou!"
