¹³ Now the mortals of Sodom are evil and sinners against Yahweh Elohim exceedingly.

¹¹ And being ruined is the earth before the Elohim, and being filled is the earth with wrong.

⁹ He becomes a master hunter before Yahweh Elohim. Therefore is it being said, "As Nimrod, the master hunter before Yahweh.

¹⁶ And in the fourth generation they shall return hither, for the depravity of the Amorites has not been repaid hitherto.

²⁰ And saying is Yahweh, "Seeing that the outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is much, and that their sin is exceedingly heavy,

⁴ Ere they are lying down, then mortals of the city, mortals of Sodom, surround the house, from the lad even unto the elder, the entire people, from the outmost parts. ⁵ And calling are they to Lot, and saying to him, "Where are the mortals who came to you tonight? Bring them forth to us, and we will know them. ⁶ And forth to them is Lot faring, to the portal, yet the door he closes after him. ⁷ And saying is he to them, "Pray, you must not, my brethren, do evil!" ⁸ Behold, pray, my two daughters who have not known a man. Pray, forth will I bring them to you, and do you to them as is good in your eyes. But to these mortals you must not do anything evil, for therefore come they into the shadow of my rafters. ⁹ Yet saying are they, "Come close you, beyond.And saying are they, "The one who came to sojourn is judging, even as a judge! Now we will do more evil to you than to them.And urging are they the man Lot exceedingly, and close are they coming to break the door. ¹⁰ And stretching forth are the mortals their hands and bringing Lot to them into the house, and the door they close. ¹¹ And the mortals who are at the portal of the house they smite with dazzlings, from the small to the great, so they are tiring themselves trying to find the portal.

⁷ And coming is it that Er, Judah's firstborn, is evil in the eyes of Yahweh, and Yahweh is putting him to death.

¹⁸ and Yahweh sends you in the way, and said, Go, and you have devoted the sinners, the Amalekite, and fought against them till they are consumed;"

⁶ and he has caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he has multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Yahweh--to provoke to anger.

⁹ Unless Yahweh of hosts reserves for us a few survivors, as Sodom would we become, and to Gomorrah would we be likened."

⁸ For faltered has Jerusalem, and Judah falls, for their tongue is offensive, and their actions against Yahweh are defiant, therefore, now, humbled is their glory." ⁹ The cut of their faces answers against them. And they tell their sin as Sodom. They do not suppress it. Alack to their soul! For they requite them with evil!

²⁴ Is any one hidden in secret places, And I see him not? an affirmation of Yahweh, Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? An affirmation of Yahweh."

⁴⁶ And your elder sister [is] Samaria, she and her daughters, Who is dwelling at your left hand, And your younger sister, who is dwelling on your right hand, [is] Sodom and her daughters." ⁴⁷ And--in their ways you have not walked, And according to their abominations done, As a little thing it has been loathed, And you do more corruptly than they in all your ways." ⁴⁸ I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Sodom your sister has not done--she and her daughters--As you have done--you and your daughters." ⁴⁹ Lo, this has been the iniquity of Sodom your sister, Arrogancy, fulness of bread, and quiet ease, Have been to her and to her daughters, And the hand of the afflicted and needy She has not strengthened." ⁵⁰ And they are haughty and do abomination before Me, And I turn them aside when I have seen."

¹⁰ And it came, at His lying back at table in the house, and lo! many tribute collectors and sinners, coming, lay back at the table together with Jesus and His disciples."

¹³ Now go, learn what this is: Mercy am I wanting, and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the just but sinners."

²³ And you, Capernaum! Not to heaven shall you be exalted! To the unseen shall you subside, for, if the powerful deeds which are occurring in you had occurred in Sodom, it might remain unto today." ²⁴ Moreover, I am saying to you that for the land of Sodom shall it be more tolerable in the day of judging than for you."

²⁴ A second time, then, they summon the man who was blind, and they say to him, "Give the glory to God. We are aware that this man is a sinner."

³¹ We are aware that God is not hearing sinners, but if anyone should be a reverer of God and doing His will, him He is hearing."

²⁷ Likewise also the males, besides, leaving the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their craving for one another, males with males effecting indecency, and getting back in themselves the retribution of their deception which must be."

¹³ And there is not a creature which is not apparent in its sight. Now all is naked and bare to the eyes of Him to Whom we are accountable.

⁶ and condemns the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to cinders by an overthrow, having placed them as an example for those about to be irreverent:" ⁷ and rescues the just man, Lot, harried by the behavior of the dissolute in their wantonness" ⁸ (for the just man dwelling among them, in observing and hearing from day to day, tormented his just soul by their lawless acts),

¹⁰ yet specially those going after the flesh in defiling lust and despising lordship. Audacious, given to self-gratification, they are not trembling when calumniating glories,

⁷ As Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them in like manner to these committing ultra-prostitution, and coming away after other flesh, are lying before us, a specimen, experiencing the justice of fire eonian."
