Ezra 6:12 Cross References - CLV

¹² May Eloah Who made His Name tabernacle there, overturn any king or people that stretches out his hand to disobey this rescript by harming this House of Eloah in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have promulgated the decree. Let it be carried out thoroughly.

²⁴ An altar of ground soil shall you make for Me, and you will sacrifice on it your ascent offerings and your peace offerings, your flock and your herd. In every place where I shall record My name I shall come to you and will bless you.

⁵ But rather for the place that Yahweh your Elohim shall choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there, you shall inquire for His tabernacle, and there will you come.

¹¹ then it will come to be:the place where Yahweh your Elohim shall choose to tabernacle His name, there shall you bring all that I am instructing you, your ascent offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand and all your choice vow offerings which you shall vow to Yahweh.

² So you will sacrifice the passover to Yahweh your Elohim from the flock and the herd in the place where Yahweh your Elohim shall choose to tabernacle His name.

³ and Yahweh said unto him, `I have heard your prayer and your supplication with which you have made supplication before Me; I have hallowed this house that you have built to put My name there--unto the eon, and Mine eyes and My heart have been there all the days.

¹⁶ and now, I have chosen and sanctified this house for My name being there unto the eon; yea, Mine eyes and My heart have been there all the days.

¹³ Then Tattenai viceroy Beyond-the-Stream, Shethar-Bozenai and their colleagues carried this out thoroughly, just as king Darius had sent word.

¹⁴ A transcript of the written text was to be promulgated as an edict in all the different provinces and was to be revealed to all the peoples, namely, to become equipped for this day. ¹⁵ The couriers rode forth posthaste by order of the king, and the edict was promulgated in the castle of Susa. Then the king and Haman sat down to drink, but Susa city was doleful.

Yahweh shall swallow them up in His anger, And fire shall devour them." ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth And their seed from among the sons of humanity.

¹³ For Yahweh has chosen Zion; He yearns for it as His dwelling place: ¹⁴ This is My resting place unto the future; Here shall I dwell, for I yearn for it."

⁸ Daughter of Babylon, the devastator, Happy is he who shall repay you With your dealing which you dealt to us." ⁹ Happy is he who shall hold and shatter your unweaned children Against the crag.

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

¹² For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and these nations shall be deserted, yea deserted."

¹⁰ Because of wrong done to your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off for the eon."

² Behold I am making Jerusalem a shivering threshold to all the peoples round about. And, moreover, over Judah it shall come to be in the siege over Jerusalem." ³ And it shall come to be in that day, I will make Jerusalem a stone, a lading for all the peoples; all laden with it shall be sorely lacerated, and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it." ⁴ In that day, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), I will smite every horse with amazement, and his rider with madness. Yet over the house of Judah will I unclose My eyes, and every horse of the peoples will I smite with blindness."

³⁸ And now I am saying to you, Withdraw from these men and let them be, for if this counsel or this work should be of men, it will be demolished;" ³⁹ yet if it is of God, you will not be able to demolish them - lest at some time you may be found fighters against God also."

⁵ Yet he said, "Who art Thou, Lord?Yet He said, "I am Jesus Whom you are persecuting."

¹⁴ And the armies in heaven, dressed in cambric, white and clean, followed Him on white horses." ¹⁵ And out of His mouth a sharp blade is issuing, that with it He should be smiting the nations. And He will be shepherding them with an iron club. And He is treading the wine trough of the fury of the indignation of God, the Almighty." ¹⁶ And on His cloak and on His thigh He has a name written: "King of kings and Lord of lords." ¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God, ¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great." ¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army." ²⁰ And the wild beast is arrested, and with it the false prophet who does the signs in its sight, by which he deceives those getting the emblem of the wild beast, and those worshiping its image. Living, the two were cast into the lake of fire burning with sulphur." ²¹ And the rest were killed with the blade which is coming out of the mouth of Him Who is sitting on the horse. And all the birds are satisfied with their flesh.
