⁴ And I look, and lo, a tempestuous wind is coming from the north, a great cloud, and fire catching itself, and brightness to it round about, and out of its midst as the color of copper, out of the midst of the fire."

¹⁶ It came to be on the third day, at the coming of the morning, that there came to be sounds and flashes and a heavy cloud on the mount, and the sound of a trumpet, exceedingly steadfast. Hence all the people who were in the camp trembled. ¹⁷ Yet Moses brought the people forth from the camp to meet the One, Elohim. So they stationed themselves at the nether part of the mountain. ¹⁸ As for Mount Sinai, all of it smoked in view of the fact that Yahweh descended on it in fire; its smoke ascended as the smoke of a limekiln, and the entire mountain trembled exceedingly.

¹⁶ and the glory of Yahweh tabernacled over Mount Sinai. The cloud covered it six days. Then Yahweh called to Moses on the seventh day from the midst of the cloud. ¹⁷ Now the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was as a devouring fire on the summit of the mountain, to the eyes of the sons of Israel.

¹¹ Then you approached and stood below the mountain, when the mountain was consuming with fire unto the heart of the heavens, with darkness, cloud and murkiness, ¹² and Yahweh spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you were hearing the sound of words, yet you were not seeing a physical representation, nothing except a voice.

¹³ yea, it comes to pass, as one [are] trumpeters and singers, to sound--one voice--to praise and to give thanks to Yahweh, and at the lifting up of the sound with trumpets, and with cymbals, and with instruments of song, and at giving praise to Yahweh, for good, for to the eon [is] His kindness, that the house is filled with a cloud--the house of Yahweh,

¹ And at Solomon's finishing to pray, then the fire has come down from the heavens, and consumes the burnt-offering and the sacrifices, and the honor of Yahweh has filled the house, ² and the priests have not been able to go in unto the house of Yahweh, because the honor of Yahweh has filled the house of Yahweh. ³ And all the sons of Israel are looking on the descending of the fire, and the honor of Yahweh on the house, and they bow--faces to the earth--on the pavement, and do obeisance, and give thanks to Yahweh, for good, for to the eon [is] His kindness.

¹¹ He set darkness as His concealment round about Him; His booth was the darkness of waters, the thick clouds of the skies." ¹² Out of the brightness in front of Him His thick clouds passed With hail and flashing embers of fire. ¹³ Then Yahweh thundered from the heavens, And the Supreme, He gave forth His voice With hail and flashing embers of fire."

³ Our Elohim shall come, And He shall certainly not be silent; Fire, it shall devour before Him, And round about Him it is very tempestuous."

² Cloud and murkiness are around Him; Righteousness and right judgment are the basis of His throne. ³ Fire is going before Him And sets His foes aflame round about;

³ The One Who is laying the rafters of His upper chambers on their waters, Who is making the thick clouds His chariot, Who is going on the wings of the wind, ⁴ Making His messengers winds, His ministers a flaming fire,

¹ LOAD OF EGYPT "Behold Yahweh riding on a thick cloud! It is fleet, and He comes to Egypt. And the forbidden idols of Egypt are swayed by His presence, and the heart of Egypt is melting within it."

¹ LOAD OF THE WILDERNESSES As sweeping whirlwinds in the south rim pass on, from the wilderness coming, from a fearful land,

¹³ And there is a word of Yahweh unto me a second time, saying, `What are you seeing?' And I say, `A blown pot I am seeing, and its face [is] from the north.'" ¹⁴ And Yahweh said unto me, `From the north is the evil loosed against all inhabitants of the land."

⁶ Lift up an ensign Zionward, Strengthen yourselves, stand not still, For evil I am bringing in from the north, And a great destruction."

¹ Strengthen yourselves, sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa blow you a trumpet, And over Beth-Haccerem lift you up a flame, For evil has been seen from the north, And great destruction."

¹⁹ Lo, a whirlwind of Yahweh--Fury has gone out, even a piercing whirlwind, On the head of the wicked it stays."

⁹ Lo, I am sending, and have taken all the families of the north--an affirmation of Yahweh--even unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and have brought them in against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about, and have devoted them, and appointed them for an astonishment, and for a hissing, and for wastes eonian."

³² Thus said Yahweh of Hosts:Lo, evil is going out from nation to nation, And a great whirlwind is stirred up from the sides of the earth."

²⁷ And I see as the color of copper, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins and upward, and from the appearance of his loins and downward, I have seen as the appearance of fire, and brightness [is] to it round about."

² and I look, and lo, a likeness as the appearance of fire, from the appearance of His loins and downward--fire, and from His loins and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the color of copper."

² And He speaks unto the man clothed with linen, and said, `Go in unto the midst of the wheel, unto the place of the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubs, and scatter over the city.' And he goes in before mine eyes." ³ And the cherubs are standing on the right side of the house, at the going in of the man, and the cloud has filled the inner court, ⁴ and become high does the honor of Yahweh above the cherub, over the threshold of the house, and the house is filled with the cloud, and the court has been filled with the brightness of the honor of Yahweh."

⁸ And there appears in the cherubs the form of a hand of man under their wings, ⁹ and I look, and lo, four wheels near the cherubs, one wheel near the one cherub, and another wheel near the other cherub, and the appearance of the wheels [is] as the color of a beryl stone."

³ Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in vigor, and verily He will not make innocent. Yahweh has His way in the sweeping whirlwind and in the horror, and a cloud is the dust of His feet." ⁴ He is rebuking the sea, and is drying it, and all the streams He drains. Enfeebled is Bashan and Carmel, and the bud of Lebanon is enfeebled." ⁵ The mountains quake because of Him, and the hills dissolve. The earth is upheaving because of His presence, and the habitance and all dwelling in it." ⁶ Before His menace, who will stand? And who will rise in the heat of His anger? His fury is poured forth as fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him."

⁸ His horses are fleeter than leopards and sharper than evening wolves, and his horsemen are diffused; and his horsemen will come from far. They will fly as a vulture that hurries to eat." ⁹ All of them will come for violence. The endeavor of their faces is toward the east; and they shall gather the captives as sand.

³ Eloah is coming from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. INTERLUDE His splendor covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth." ⁴ And its brightness is becoming as the light. From His hand He has gleams, and there is the hiding of His strength." ⁵ Before Him the plague is going, and a sirocco is faring forth at His feet."

²⁹ for our God is also a consuming fire.

¹⁵ and His feet like white bronze, as fired in a furnace, and His voice is as the sound of many waters."
