Ecclesiastes 1:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ The words of the Assembler, son of David, king in Jerusalem:"

⁴² And the days that Solomon has reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel [are] forty years, ⁴³ and Solomon lies with his fathers, and is buried in the city of David his father, and reign does Rehoboam his son in his stead.

³⁰ And Solomon reigns in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years,

¹⁷ As to the sons of Israel who are dwelling in the cities of Judah--Rehoboam reigns over them. ¹⁸ And king Rehoboam sends Hadoram, who [is] over the tribute, and the sons of Israel cast at him stones, and he dies; and king Rehoboam has strengthened himself to go up into a chariot to flee to Jerusalem;" ¹⁹ and Israel transgress against the house of David unto this day.

⁷ And also, prophets you have appointed to call for you in Jerusalem, saying, A king [is] in Judah, and now it is heard by the king according to these words; and now come, and we take counsel together..

⁹ I bear tidings of righteousness in the vast assembly; Behold, I shall not close off my lips; O Yahweh, You know."

¹² I myself, the Assembler, came to be king over Israel in Jerusalem."

²⁷ See, this is what I found, said the Assembler:Adding one thing to another to find a design,

⁸ Vanity of vanities, says the Assembler, The whole is vanity." ⁹ Yet furthermore, because the Assembler was wise, He still taught the people knowledge, And he listened and investigated And set in order many proverbs." ¹⁰ The Assembler sought to find words of delight, And what was written is uprightness and words of truth."

¹ The spirit of My Lord Yahweh is on Me, because Yahweh anoints Me to bear tidings to the humble. He sends Me to bind up the broken hearted, to herald to captives, liberty, and, to the blind, the unclosing of the eyes, and, to the bound, to take the jubilee,

² Rise! Go unto Nineveh, the great city, and call out to it the call which I am speaking to you."

⁵ and spares not the ancient world, but guards Noah, an eighth, a herald of righteousness, bringing a deluge on the world of the irreverent;"
