Deuteronomy 24:2 Cross References - CLV

² When she goes forth from his house, goes and becomes another man's,

⁷ A prostituting woman or a violated one, they shall not take, and a woman driven out from her husband they shall not take, for he is holy to his Elohim.

¹⁴ A widow or one driven out or violated or prostituting, these he shall not take, but rather a virgin from his kinsmen shall he take for a wife,

¹³ Yet in case the daughter of the priest becomes a widow or is driven out and she has no seed and so she returns to the house of her father as in her youth, of her father's bread she may eat, yet no alien at all may eat of it.

⁹ The vow of a widow or one driven out, all which she binds on her soul shall be confirmed on her.

²² And a widow and divorced woman they do not take to them for wives:but--virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, and the widow who is widow of a priest, do they take."

³² Yet I am saying to you that everyone dismissing his wife (outside of a case of prostitution) is making her commit adultery, and whosoever should be marrying her who has been dismissed is committing adultery.

¹¹ And He is saying to them, "Whosoever should be dismissing his wife and should be marrying another is committing adultery against her."

¹⁵ Yet if the unbeliever is separating, let him separate. A brother or a sister is not enslaved in such a case. Now God has called us in peace."
