⁵ Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem, Jews, pious men from every nation under heaven."

¹⁶ also observe the celebration of the harvest of the firstfruits of your yields from what you are sowing in the field: and observe the celebration of ingathering at the going forth of the year, when you gather your yields from the field.

²⁵ This day I shall start to put the awe of you and the fear of you on the face of all peoples beneath the entire heavens; whenever they should hear a report of you, they will be disturbed and in travail before your face.

¹⁸ And I know their deeds and their devices! I will come to convene all the nations and the tongues. And they come and see My glory."

¹⁸ And the word of Yahweh of hosts is coming to me saying,

¹⁴ And heralded shall be this evangel of the kingdom in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the consummation shall be arriving."

²⁵ And lo! there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name is Simeon. And this man is just and pious, anticipating the consolation of Israel, and holy spirit was on him."

²⁴ For even as the lightning, flashing out from here under heaven to there under heaven, is shining, thus will be the Son of Mankind in His day."

¹⁸ Now, answering, the one named Cleopas said to Him, "You are sojourning alone in Jerusalem and did not know what things are occurring in her in these days?

²⁰ Now there were some Greeks from among those going up that they should be worshiping in the festival.

¹ And at the fulfillment of the day of Pentecost they were all alike in the same place.

² Yet pious men are Stephen's pallbearers, and they make a great grieving over him."

²⁷ And rising, he went. And lo! a man, an Ethiopian eunuch, a potentate of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over her entire exchequer, who had come, to be worshiping, to Jerusalem."

² devout and fearing God with his entire house, doing many alms to the people and beseeching God continually,

⁷ Now as the messenger who is speaking to him came away, summoning two of the domestics and a devout soldier of those who waited on him,

⁵⁰ Yet the Jews spur on the reverent, respectable women, and the foremost ones of the city, and rouse up persecution for Paul and Barnabas, and they ejected them from their boundaries."

¹² Now a certain Ananias, a pious man according to the law, being attested by all the Jews dwelling there,

²³ since surely you are persisting in the faith, grounded and settled and are not being removed from the expectation of the evangel which you hear which is being heralded in the entire creation which is under heaven of which I, Paul, became the dispenser."
