¹⁵ and saying, "Men! Why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like emotions as you, bringing the evangel to you to turn you back from these vain things to the living God, Who makes heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them,

¹ 1Created by the Elohim were the heavens and the earth.

¹⁶ And answering Pharaoh is Joseph saying, "Apart from the Elohim there is no answer for the welfare of Pharaoh.

¹¹ For in six days Yahweh dealt with the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He stopped on the seventh day. Therefore, Yahweh blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

²⁶ For who is there of all flesh that has heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking from the midst of the fire as we have, and he still lives?

²¹ As for them, they make Me jealous with a non-el. They provoke Me to vexation with their idols of vanity. As for Me, I shall make them jealous with a non-people; with a decadent nation shall I cause them vexation.

¹⁰ and Joshua said, `By this you know that the living El [is] in your midst, and He does certainly dispossess from before you the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Hivite, and the Perizzite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Jebusite.

²¹ and you do not turn aside after the vain things which do not profit nor deliver, for they [are] vain,

²⁶ And David speaks unto the men who are standing by him, saying, `What is done to the man who smites this Philistine, and has turned aside reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine that he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim?.

³⁶ Both the lion and the bear has your servant smitten, and this uncircumcised Philistine has been as one of them, for he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim..

¹³ concerning all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, that they sinned, and that they caused Israel to sin to provoke Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, with their vanities.

²⁶ and walks in all the way of Jeroboam son of Nebat, and in his sin that he caused Israel to sin, to provoke Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, with their vanities.

⁴ `It may be Yahweh your Elohim does hear all the words of the chief of the butlers with which the king of Asshur his lord has sent him to reproach the living Elohim, and has decided concerning the words that Yahweh your Elohim has heard, and you have lifted up prayer for the remnant that is found..

¹⁶ Incline, O Yahweh, Your ear, and hear; open, O Yahweh, Your eyes, and see; and hear You the words of Sennacherib with which he has sent him to reproach the living Elohim.

⁶ I hate those keeping hypocritical vanities, Yet I, I trust in Yahweh."

⁶ By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, And by the spirit of His mouth, all their host."

⁸ Our help is in the Name of Yahweh, Maker of the heavens and earth."

⁵ Happy is he who has the El of Jacob as his Help; His hopefulness is set on Yahweh his Elohim, ⁶ Maker of the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, The Guardian of truth for the eons;"

²³ From the eon was I inaugurated, From the beginning, preceeding the earth;" ²⁴ When there were no abysses I was travailed, When there were no springs teeming with water." ²⁵ Ere the mountains were sunk in place, Before the hills, I was travailed, ²⁶ When He had not yet made the earth and its open places, Or the beginnings of soil for the habitance." ²⁷ When He established the heavens I was there, When He delineated the horizon on the face of the abyss, ²⁸ When He made the sky clouds firm above, When He set the springs of the abyss with strength, ²⁹ When He established for the sea its statutory limit, So that the waters may not pass beyond His bidding, When He delineated the foundations of the earth." ³⁰ Then I was beside Him as His foster child, And I was filled with bliss day by day, Gamboling before Him all the time, ³¹ Gamboling in the habitance of His earth, And my bliss was in the sons of humanity."

⁹ Formers of carvings, all of them are a chaos. And makers of their coveted idols shall fail to benefit. And their witnesses they will fail to see and fail to know, that they may be ashamed, ¹⁰ Who form an el, and cast a carving which fails to benefit."

¹⁹ And he is not recalling to his heart, and no knowledge is there, nor understanding to say, "Half of it I burned up in the fire, and, indeed, I baked on its embers bread, roasting flesh and eating. And the rest of it I am making into an abhorrence. To a decaying tree am I falling on my knees and face!" ²⁰ Grazing on ashes, a trifling heart turns him aside. And he is not rescuing his soul, nor is he saying, "Is not a falsehood in my right hand?

¹⁸ For thus says Yahweh, Creator of the heavens; He is the Elohim, and Former of the earth, and its Maker, and He, He established it. He did not create it a chaos. He formed it to be indwelt. "I am Yahweh, and there is none else."

²⁰ Convene and come! Close yourselves and arrive, delivered of the nations! They do not know, those carrying the wood, their carving, and praying to an el who is not a saviour."

⁷ And they will bear it on a shoulder, they shall be burdened with it. And they will leave it on its bottom, then it is standing. From its place it is not being removed. Indeed, he is crying to it, yet it is not answering. From his distress it will not save him."

¹⁹ Lo, the voice of a cry of the daughter of my people from a land afar off, Is Yahweh not in Zion? is her king not in her? Wherefore have they provoked Me with their graven images, With the vanities of a foreigner?

³ For the statutes of the peoples are vanity, For a tree from a forest has one cut, Work of the hands of an artificer, with an axe, ⁴ With silver and with gold they beautify it, With nails and with hammers they fix it, And it does not stumble." ⁵ As a palm they [are] stiff, and they speak not, They are surely borne, for they step not, Be not afraid of them, for they do no evil, Yea, also to do good is not in them."

⁸ And in one they are brutish and foolish, An instruction of vanities [is] the tree itself."

¹⁰ And Yahweh [is] an Elohim of truth, He [is] a living Elohim, and a king eonian, From His wrath shake does the earth, And nations endure not His indignation." ¹¹ Thus do you say to them, The elohims Who the heavens and earth have not made, They do perish from the earth, And from under these heavens."

¹⁴ Brutish is every man by knowledge, Put to shame is every refiner by a graven image, For false [is] his molten image. And there is no breath in them." ¹⁵ Vanity [are] they, work of erring ones, In the time of their inspection they perish."

²² Are there among the vanities of the nations any causing rain? And do the heavens give showers? Are not You He, O Yahweh our Elohim? And we wait for you, for You--You have done all these!"

¹⁷ `Ah, Lord Yahweh, lo, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power, and by Your stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for You:"

²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:" ²⁹ You, O king--your ruminations on your bed come up regarding all that shall be after this. The Revealer of secrets makes known to you what that shall be." ³⁰ And I--this secret is revealed to me not by wisdom actually in me more than any other of the living. It is revealed only to the intent that the interpretation to the king be made known, and that you shall know the ruminations of your heart."

²⁶ From before me is promulgated this decree:In every authority of my kingdom be they stirred and terrified before Daniel's Eloah:He is the living Eloah and is set up for the eons. His kingdom shall not come to harm and His jurisdiction is till the terminus.

⁴ Thus says Yahweh, Due to three transgressions of Judah, and due to four, I will not turn it back, due to their rejecting the law of Yahweh. His statutes they do not keep. And their lies are leading them astray, lies after which their forefathers went."

⁸ Those observing the vanities of futility are forsaking their own kindness.

¹ The load, the word of Yahweh concerning Israel. Averring is Yahweh, Outstretcher of the heavens, and Founder of the earth, and Former of the spirit of the human within him,

¹⁶ Now answering, Simon Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, thus to the Son also He gives to have life in Himself."

¹⁸ He who is speaking from himself is seeking his own glory, yet He Who is seeking the glory of Him Who sends Him, this One is true, and injustice is not in Him."

¹² Now, perceiving it, Peter answers the people: "Men! Israelites! Why are you marveling at this? Or why at us are you looking so intently, as if by our own power or devoutness we had made him walk? ¹³ The God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorifies His Boy Jesus, Whom you, indeed, give up and disown before the face of Pilate, when he decides to release Him."

²⁴ Now those who hear, with one accord lift up their voice to God and say, O Owner, Thou Who makest heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them,

²⁶ Besides, on the ensuing day he was seen by them as they are fighting, and he interceded with them for peace, saying, Men! Brethren are you! Why is it that you are injuring one another?

²⁶ Yet Peter raises him, saying, "Rise! I myself also am a man."

²² Now the populace retorted, "A god's voice, and not a man's!" ²³ Now instantly a messenger of the Lord smites him, because he gives not the glory to God, and, becoming the food of worms, he gives up his soul."

³² And we are bringing to you the evangel which comes to be a promise to the fathers,

⁷ And there they were bringing the evangel.

²¹ Evangelizing that city besides, and making a considerable number of disciples, they return into Lystra and into Iconium and into Antioch,

³⁰ and, preceding them out, averred, "Masters, what must I be doing that I may be saved?

¹⁶ Now, while Paul was waiting for them in Athens, his spirit was incited in him at beholding the city being idol-ridden." ¹⁷ Indeed, then, he argued in the synagogue with the Jews and with the reverent, and in the market on every day with those happening along." ¹⁸ Now some of the Epicurean as well as Stoic philosophers parleyed with him, and some said, "Whatever may this rook be wanting to say?Yet others, "He seems to be an announcer of strange demons,seeing that he brought them the evangel of Jesus and the resurrection."

²⁴ The God Who makes the world and all that is in it, He, the Lord inherent of heaven and earth, is not dwelling in temples made by hands, ²⁵ neither is He attended by human hands, as if requiring anything, since He Himself gives to all life and breath and all." ²⁶ Besides, He makes out of one every nation of mankind, to be dwelling on all the surface of the earth, specifying the setting of the seasons and the bounds of their dwelling, for them to be seeking God, if, consequently, ²⁷ they may surely grope for Him and may be finding Him, though to be sure, not far from each one of us is He inherent, ²⁸ for in Him we are living and moving and are, as some poets of yours also have declared, 'For of that race also are we.'" ²⁹ The race, then, is inherently of God; we ought not to be inferring that the Divine is like gold, or silver, or stone, a sculpture of art and human sentiment." ³⁰ Indeed, then, condoning the times of ignorance, God is now charging mankind that all everywhere are to repent,

¹⁷ extricating you from the people and from the nations, to whom I am commissioning you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them about from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, for them to get a pardon of sins and an allotment among those who have been hallowed by faith that is in Me.'" ¹⁹ Whence, king Agrippa, I did not become stubborn as to the heavenly apparition, " ²⁰ but first to those in Damascus, besides in Jerusalem also, besides to the entire province of Judea, and to the nations, I reported that they are to be repenting and turning back to God, engaging acts worthy of repentance."

¹⁰ saying, "Men! I behold that sailing is about to be with damage and much forfeit, not only of the lading and of the ship, but of our souls also."

²¹ Besides, there being much inherent abstinence, then Paul, standing in the midst of them, said, "It was binding on you, indeed, O men, yielding to me, not to have set out from Crete, to gain, besides this damage, also the forfeit."

²⁵ Wherefore, be cheerful, men, for I am believing God that thus it will be even in the manner which has been spoken to me."

²⁰ For His invisible attributes are descried from the creation of the world, being apprehended by His achievements, besides His imperceptible power and divinity, for them to be defenseless, ²¹ because, knowing God, not as God do they glorify or thank Him, but vain were they made in their reasonings, and darkened is their unintelligent heart." ²² Alleging themselves to be wise, they are made stupid, ²³ and they change the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of a corruptible human being and flying creatures and quadrupeds and reptiles.

⁴ Then, concerning the feeding on the idol sacrifices: We are aware that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except One."

¹⁷ This, then, I am saying and attesting in the Lord: By no means are you still to be walking according as those of the nations also are walking, in the vanity of their mind,

⁹ for they are reporting concerning us, what kind of an entrance we have had to you, and how you turn back to God from idols, to be slaving for the living and true God,

¹⁵ yet, if I should be tardy, that you may be perceiving how one must behave in God's house, which is the ecclesia of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth."

¹² Beware, brethren, lest at some time there shall be in any one of you a wicked heart of unbelief, in withdrawing from the living God."

¹⁷ Elijah was a man of like emotions with us, and he prays in prayer for it not to rain, and it does not rain on the land three years and six months."

⁷ saying with a loud voice, "Be ye afraid of God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judging came; and worship the Maker of heaven and the land and the sea and the springs of water."

¹⁰ And I fall in front of his feet to worship him. And he is saying to me, "See! No! A fellow slave of yours am I, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army."

⁹ And he is saying to me, "See! No! a fellow slave of yours am I, and of your brethren, the prophets and those keeping the sayings of this scroll. Worship God!"
