¹⁹ They are before me in a day of my calamity, And Yahweh is my support,

²⁶ And Saul goes on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain, and David is hastened to go from the face of Saul, and Saul and his men are compassing David and his men, to catch them. ²⁷ And a messenger has come in unto Saul, saying, `Haste, and come, for the Philistines have pushed against the land..

¹⁸ They confronted me in the day of my calamity, Yet Yahweh became my Stay." ¹⁹ He brought me forth into a wide place; He liberated me, for He has delighted in me."

⁴ Even though I should walk in the ravine of blackest shadow, I shall not fear evil, For You are with me; Your club and Your staff, they are comforting me."

²⁰ You Who have made me see distresses, many and evil, You shall again revive me; You shall again bring me up from the abyss of the earth." ²¹ You shall increase Your greatness, And You shall surround and comfort me."

¹⁹ Live shall your death-doomed! Their carcasses shall rise! Awake and jubilate, tabernaclers of the soil! For a night mist of lights is your night mist. And the land is causing the healers to fall."

¹⁰ Who among you fears Yahweh, hearing the voice of His servant? Who goes in darkness, and there is no brightness for him? Is he trusting in the name of Yahweh, and leaning on his Elohim?

³⁹ Now those going by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads" ⁴⁰ and saying, "You who are demolishing the temple and building it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, descend from the cross!" ⁴¹ Likewise the chief priests also, with the scribes and elders, scoffing, said, ⁴² Others he saves! Himself he can not save! If he is king of Israel, let him descend now from the cross, and we will believe on him!" ⁴³ He has confidence in God. Let Him rescue him now, if He is wanting him, for he said that 'God's Son am I!'" ⁴⁴ Now with the same, the robbers also, who are crucified together with Him, reproached Him."
