¹⁵ And again have the Philistines war with Israel, and David goes down, and his servants with him, and they fight with the Philistines; and David is weary,

¹⁰ `And, now, lo, Yahweh has kept me alive, as He has spoken, these forty and five years, since Yahweh spoke this word unto Moses, when Israel went in the wilderness; and now, lo, I [am] to-day a son of five and eighty years;" ¹¹ yet [am] I to-day strong as in the day of Moses' sending me; as my power then, so [is] my power now, for battle, and to go out, and to come in.

¹⁷ And the Philistines hear that they have anointed David for king over Israel, and all the Philistines come up to seek David, and David hears, and goes down unto the fortress,

²² And the Philistines add again to come up, and are spread out in the valley of Rephaim,

²⁵ And David does so, as Yahweh commanded him, and smites the Philistines from Geba unto your coming to Gazer.

⁴ And it comes to pass, after this, that there remains war in Gezer with the Philistines, then has Sibbechai the Hushathite smitten Sippai, of the children of the giant, and they are humbled.

⁹ O do not fling me away at the time of my old age; When my vigor is exhausted, O do not forsake me."

¹⁸ Even when I am old and greyhaired, O Elohim, do not forsake me, Until I should tell of Your arm of power to the next generation, Of Your masterful deeds to all who shall come."

²⁶ Exhausted is my flesh, and my heart; The Rock of my heart and my Portion is Elohim for the eon."

³ In the day when the keepers of the house stir in a sweat, And the men of valor bend down, When the grinding maids halt because they are few, And those seeing out through the crevices are darkened,

²⁸ Do you not know? Should you not hear? The Elohim eonian is Yahweh, Creator of the ends of the earth. He is not fainting, nor is He wearying. And there is no investigating of His understanding." ²⁹ He is giving vigor to the faint, and to those with no virility, their staunchness He is increasing." ³⁰ And the youths will be faint and weary, and the choice men will stumble, yea stumble."

²³ Thus said Yahweh:Let not the wise boast himself in his wisdom, Nor let the mighty boast himself in his might, Let not the rich boast himself in his riches, ²⁴ But--in this let the boaster boast himself, In understanding and knowing Me, For I [am] Yahweh, doing kindness, Judgment, and righteousness, in the earth, For in these I have delighted, An affirmation of Yahweh."

²⁴ because All flesh is grass, And all its glory is as the flower of grass. Withered is the grass, And the flower falls off..." ²⁵ Yet the declaration of the Lord is remaining for the eon. Now this is the declaration which is being brought to you in the evangel.
