¹ And Naaman, head of the host of the king of Aram, was a great man before his lord, and accepted of face, for by him had Yahweh given salvation to Aram, and the man was mighty in valor--leprous.

³ And Yahweh gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians, when they requested of them. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the eyes of the Egyptians, in the eyes of the servants of Pharaoh and in the eyes of the people.

² In case a human comes to have in the skin of his flesh a nodule or a scurf or a blotch, and it comes in the skin of his flesh as the contagion of leprous disease, then the matter will be brought before Aaron the priest, or before one of his sons the priests. ³ When the priest examines the contagious area in the skin of the flesh, and the hair in the contagious area has turned white and the appearance of the contagion is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the contagion of leprous disease. When the priest has examined it he will pronounce him unclean.

⁴⁴ he is a leprous man; he is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, yea unclean; his contagion is on his head. ⁴⁵ As for the leprous man in whom the contagion is, his garments, they shall come to be ripped, and his head shall come to be disheveled, and he shall muffle the upper lip; and, Unclean! Unclean! shall he call. ⁴⁶ All the days in which the contagion is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean and shall dwell solitarily; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

¹⁰ When the cloud withdrew from above the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous as snow. Aaron turned around to Miriam, and behold, she was leprous. ¹¹ Aaron said to Moses, O! my lord, do not, I pray, set against us the sin in which we were foolish and with which we have sinned. ¹² Oh do not let her be as the dead child of which, when it comes forth from the womb of its mother, half its flesh is devoured.

³⁷ But to the country of the sons of Ammon, all along the side of the watercourse of Jabbok and the cities of the hill-country you did not come near, thus doing all of that which Yahweh our Elohim had given instructions.

²⁹ it does stay on the head of Joab, and on all the house of his father, and there is not cut off from the house of Joab one having an issue, and leprous, and laying hold on a staff, and falling by a sword, and lacking bread..

⁸ And the day comes that Elisha passes over unto Shunem, and there [is] a great woman, and she lays hold on him to eat bread, and it comes to pass, at the time of his passing over, he turns aside thither to eat bread,

²⁷ yea, the leprosy of Naaman does cleave to you, and to your seed, --to the eon;' and he goes out from before him--leprous as snow.

³ And four men have been leprous, at the opening of the gate, and they say one unto another, `What--we are sitting here till we have died;"

¹⁹ And Uzziah is wroth, and in his hand [is] a censer to make perfume, and in his being wroth with the priests--the leprosy has risen in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Yahweh, from beside the altar of perfume. ²⁰ And Azariah the head priest looks unto him, and all the priests, and lo, he [is] leprous in his forehead, and they hasten him thence, and also he himself has hastened to go out, for Yahweh has plagued him. ²¹ And Uzziah the king is a leper unto the day of his death, and inhabits a separate house--a leper, for he has been cut off from the house of Yahweh, and Jotham his son [is] over the house of the king, judging the people of the land. ²² And the rest of the matters of Uzziah, the first and the last, has Isaiah son of Amoz the prophet written;" ²³ and Uzziah lies with his fathers, and they bury him with his fathers, in the field of the burying-place that the kings have, for they said, `He [is] a leper;' and reign does Jotham his son in his stead.

⁴ For Mordecai's influence was great in the king's house, and his fame was spreading in all the provinces as the influence of the man Mordecai became towering.

³ For Mordecai the Jew was second to king Xerxes and towering among the Jews and held dear by many of his brothers; he sought after the good for his people and spoke up for the welfare of all his seed.

³¹ A horse is prepared for the day of battle, Yet the victory belongs to Yahweh."

⁵ Woe, Assyria! Club of My anger! And a rod! He, in their hand, is My menace!" ⁶ Among a nation polluted will I send him. And against a people, object of My rage, will I instruct him. To loot loot and to plunder plunder, and to place them for tramping, as the clay of the streets."

⁵ Thus do you say unto your lords, I--I have made the earth with man, and the cattle that [are] on the face of the earth, by My great power, and by My stretched-out arm, and I have given it to whom it has been right in Mine eyes." ⁶ `And now, I--I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and also the beast of the field I have given to him to serve him;"

²⁷ And many lepers were in Israel under Elisha the prophet, and none of them is cleansed except Naaman the Syrian."

¹¹ Jesus answered him, "No authority have you against Me in anything, except it were given to you from above. Therefore he who is giving Me up to you has the greater sin."

¹⁸ For I am not daring to speak any of what Christ does not effect through me for the obedience of the nations, in word and work,

⁷ Wherefore also, lest I should be lifted up by the transcendence of the revelations, there was given to me a splinter in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, that he may be buffeting me, lest I may be lifted up. "
