¹⁹ and takes the heads of the hundreds, and the executioners, and the runners, and all the people of the land, and they bring down the king from the house of Yahweh, and come by the way of the gate of the runners, to the house of the king, and he sits on the throne of the kings.

¹³ go and enter in unto king David, and you have said unto him, Have you not, my lord, O king, sworn to your handmaid, saying, Surely Solomon your son does reign after me, and he does sit on my throne? and wherefore has Adonijah reigned?

⁴ And in the seventh year has Jehoiada sent and takes the heads of the hundreds, of the executioners and of the runners, and brings them in unto him, to the house of Yahweh, and makes with them a covenant, and causes them to swear in the house of Yahweh, and shows them the son of the king, ⁵ and commands them, saying, `This [is] the thing that you do; The third of you [are] going in on the sabbath, and keepers of the charge of the house of the king, ⁶ and the third [is] at the gate of Sur, and the third at the gate behind the runners, and you have kept the charge of the house pulled down;"

²³ And Solomon sits on the throne of Yahweh for king instead of David his father, and prospers, and all Israel hearken unto him,

⁵ and the third [are] at the house of the king, and the third at the gate of the foundation, and all the people [are] in the courts of the house of Yahweh.

¹⁹ and he stations the gatekeepers over the gates of the house of Yahweh, and the unclean in anything does not go in.

²⁵ Then entered by the gates of this city have kings and princes, Sitting on the throne of David, Riding in a chariot, and on horses, They, and their princes, the man of Judah, And inhabitants of Jerusalem, And this city has remained to the eon."

⁴ For, if you certainly do this thing, Then come in by the gates of this house Have kings sitting for David on his throne, Riding on chariot, and on horses, He, and his servants, and his people."

³⁰ Thus said Yahweh:Write you this man childless, A man--he does not prosper in his days, For none of his seed does prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling again in Judah!"

²⁸ Yet Jesus said to them, "Verily, I am saying to you, that you who follow Me, in the renascence whenever the Son of Mankind should be seated on the throne of His glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

³¹ Now, whenever the Son of Mankind may be coming in His glory, and all the holy messengers with Him, then shall He be seated on the throne of His glory,
