¹³ and prays unto Him, and He is entreated of him, and hears his supplication, and brings him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom, and Manasseh knows that Yahweh--He [is] Elohim.

⁶ You did not eat bread, neither did you drink wine nor intoxicant, so that you might know that I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

²⁰ and they are helped against them, and the Hagarites are given into their hand, and all who [are] with them, for they cried to Elohim in battle, and He was entreated of them, because they trusted in Him.

²⁷ Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of our fathers, Who has put such as this into the heart of the king to beautify the House of Yahweh in Jerusalem.

²³ So we fasted and besought our Elohim for this, and He let Himself be entreated by us.

²³ If you return unto Him Who Suffices and you submit, If you put iniquity far from your ten.

²⁷ You shall entreat Him, and He shall hear you, And you shall pay your vows.

¹⁶ Then He reveals matters to the ear of men, And He dismays them with admonitions, ¹⁷ To withdraw a human from his deed, And that He may obliterate pride in a master. ¹⁸ He keeps back his soul from the pit And his life from passing into the unseen. ¹⁹ Also he is corrected by pain on his bed, And by perennial contention in his bones, ²⁰ So that bread is repugnant to him, to his life, And to his soul, the food of yearning. ²¹ His flesh is vanishing away from sight, And his bones are ridges that once could not be seen. ²² His soul draws near to the pit And his life to the place of the dead. ²³ If there is a messenger on his behalf, An intermediary, one out of a thousand, To tell the human what is upright for him, ²⁴ And he is gracious to him and says, Do ransom him from descending to the pit; I have found a propitiatory shelter, ²⁵ Then his flesh will become hale with youth And shall be restored to the days of his adolescence. ²⁶ He shall entreat to Eloah, and He shall accept him; He shall see His face with joyful shouting And shall recall to mortals his vindication. ²⁷ He shall sing before mortals and say, I have sinned and depraved what is upright, Yet He did not compensate it fully to me. ²⁸ He ransomed my soul from passing into the pit, And my life is seeing the light. ²⁹ Behold, El is effecting all these things Twice and thrice with a master, ³⁰ To restore his soul from the pit, To enlighten him with the light of the living.

¹⁶ Yahweh is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked are trapped by the deed of His palms. {Chant, Interlude{ "

³ When I kept silent toward You, my bones became worn out With my roaring the entire day." ⁴ For by day and night, Your hand was heavy upon me; My freshness was turned into the droughts of summer. {Interlude{ " ⁵ I am now acknowledging my sin to You, And I do not cover over my depravity. I said, I shall confess against myself my transgressions to Yahweh, And You, You lift away the depravity of my sin. {Interlude{ "

¹⁰ Relax and know that I am Elohim; I shall be exalted among the nations; I shall be exalted in the earth.

⁵ For You, O Yahweh, are good and pardoning, And with much benignity to all calling on You."

⁷ When a man's ways please Yahweh He makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

¹ Like rillets of water is the king's heart in the hand of Yahweh; Wherever He inclines, He turns it aside."

⁶ Inquire for Yahweh while He is to be found; call Him while He comes to be near. ⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins." ⁸ For not as My devices are your devices, and not as your ways are My ways,averring is Yahweh." ⁹ For as the heavens are loftier than the earth, so are My ways loftier than your ways, and my devices than your devices."

⁷ And have given to them a heart to know Me, For I [am] Yahweh, And they have been to Me for a people, And I am to them for Elohim, For they turned back unto Me with all their heart."

¹² `And you have called Me, and have gone, and have prayed unto Me, and I have hearkened unto you, ¹³ And you have sought Me, and have found, for you seek Me with all your heart;"

²⁵ for they shall shove you from mortals, and with the animals of the field is to be your abode, and herbage will they feed to you, as oxen, and with the night mist of the heavens will you be streaked; thus seven seasons shall pass on over you till you shall know that the Supreme is in authority in the kingdom of mortals, and that to whom He is willing He is giving it."

³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to the heavens, and my knowledge is returning to me. Then I blessed the Supreme, and I lauded and honored Him Who is living for the eon, seeing that His jurisdiction is an eonian jurisdiction, and His kingdom is with generation after generation." ³⁵ All abiding on the earth are reckoned as naught:According to His will is He doing in the army of the heavens and with those abiding on the earth. And no one will actually clap with his hands and say to Him, "What doest Thou?

³³ Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you."

⁷ Request and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you." ⁸ For everyone who is requesting is obtaining, and who is seeking is finding, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened."

⁴² And he said to Jesus, "Be reminded of me, Lord, whenever Thou mayest be coming in Thy kingdom." ⁴³ And Jesus said to him, "Verily, to you am I saying today, with Me shall you be in paradise."

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, "If you were aware of the gratuity of God, and Who it is Who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would request Him, and He would give you living water."

³ Now it is eonian life that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Him Whom Thou dost commission, Jesus Christ."

¹¹ And by no means should each be teaching his fellow citizen, And each his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord!' For all shall be acquainted with Me, From their little to their great,
