¹⁶ And he said, `I have seen all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd, and Yahweh said, There are no masters to these, they turn back each to his house in peace..

¹⁷ who may go forth before them and enter before them, and who may bring them forth and bring them in so that the congregation of Yahweh shall not become like a flock for whom there is no shepherd.

⁷ and now, are your hands strong, and be you for sons of valor, for your lord Saul. [is] dead, and also--me have the house of Judah anointed for king over them..

² also heretofore, in Saul's being king over us, you have been he who is bringing out and bringing in Israel, and Yahweh said to you, You do feed My people Israel, and you are for leader over Israel..

³⁴ And a man has drawn with a bow, in his simplicity, and smites the king of Israel between the joinings and the coat of mail, and he said to his charioteer, `Turn your hand, and take me out from the camp, for I have become sick.. <sup>35</sup> And the battle increases on that day, and the king has been caused to stand in the chariot, over-against Aram, and he dies in the evening, and the blood of the wound runs out unto the midst of the chariot, <sup>36</sup> and he causes the cry to pass over through the camp, at the going in of the sun, saying, `Each unto his city, and each unto his land..

³ and you have seen the best and the upright of the sons of your lord, and have set [him] on the throne of his father, and fight you for the house of your lord..

³³ And a man has drawn with a bow, in his simplicity, and smites the king of Israel between the joinings and the coat of mail, and he said to the charioteer, `Turn your hand, and you have brought me out of the camp, for I have become sick.. ³⁴ And the battle increases on that day, and the king of Israel has been stayed up in the chariot over-against Aram till the evening, and he dies at the time of the going in of the sun.

¹ Woe to shepherds destroying, And scattering the flock of My pasture, An affirmation of Yahweh." ² Therefore, thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, Against the shepherds who feed My people, You have scattered My flock, and drive them away, And have not inspected them, Lo, I am charging on you the evil of your doings, An affirmation of Yahweh."

⁵ And they are scattered from want of a shepherd, And are for food to every beast of the field, Yea, they are scattered." ⁶ Go astray do My flock on all the mountains, And on every high hill, And on all the face of the land have My flock been scattered, And there is none inquiring, and none seeking."

⁸ I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, If not, because of My flock being for a prey, Yea, My flock is for food to every beast of the field, Because there is no shepherd, And My shepherds have not sought My flock, And the shepherds do feed themselves, And My flock they have not fed."

² For the household gods speak lawlessness, and the diviners perceive a falsehood, and dreams of futility are they speaking; with vanity they are comforting. Therefore they decamp just as a flock; they are humbled, for there is no grazing."

⁷ O sword! rouse against My Shepherd, and against the Master, My Companion, (averring is Yahweh of hosts). Smite the Shepherd, and the flock is scattering. And I restore My hand on the inferior shepherds."

³⁶ Now, perceiving the throngs, He has compassion on them, for they were bothered and tossed as if sheep having no shepherd."

⁶⁴ Saying to him is Jesus, "You say it! Moreover, I am saying to you, Henceforth you shall be seeing the Son of Mankind sitting at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven."

³⁴ And, coming out, Jesus perceived a vast throng, and He has compassion on them, for they were as sheep not having a shepherd, and He begins to teach them much."
