⁴ And he puts before the ark of Yahweh, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Yahweh, Elohim of Israel,

⁷ And I set up My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you, for their generations, for a covenant eonian, to become your Elohim and your seed's after you.

²⁸ And saying is He to him, "Not Jacob shall your name be called longer, but rather Israel is your name. For upright are you with the Elohim and with mortals, and are prevailing.

²⁰ And setting up is he there an altar, and calling on El-Elohim-Ishral.

¹ Yahweh said to Aaron:You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear any depravity committed against the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear any depravity in connection with your priesthood. ² Moreover, bring near with you your brothers of the stock of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be obligated to you and may minister to you when you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony. ³ They will keep guard of you and guard of the entire tent; only to the furnishings of the holy place and to the altar they shall not come near so that they may not die, both they and you. ⁴ They will be obligated to you and will keep guard of the tent of appointment for all the service of the tent. Yet no alien may come near to you. ⁵ You will keep guard of the holy place and guard of the altar so that no more wrath shall come on the sons of Israel. ⁶ As for Me, behold, I have taken your brothers, the Levites, from the midst of the sons of Israel as a gift for you, given to Yahweh to serve in the service of the tent of appointment.

¹⁵ And he said, `Blessed [is] Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, who spoke by His mouth with David my father, and by His hand has fulfilled [it], saying,

¹⁶ And David said to the heads of the Levites to appoint their brethren the singers, with instruments of song, psalteries, and harps, and cymbals, sounding, to lift up with the voice for joy.

⁸ Give thanks to Yahweh, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.

³⁷ And he leaves there before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day, ³⁸ both Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers, ³⁹ and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon, ⁴⁰ to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Yahweh, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Yahweh, that He charged on Israel. ⁴¹ And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, for to the eon [is] His kindness, ⁴² and with them--Heman and Jeduthun--[are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of Elohim, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.

² and gathers all the heads of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites;" ³ and the Levites are numbered from a son of thirty years and upward, and their number, by their polls, is of mighty men thirty and eight thousand. ⁴ Of these to preside over the work of the house of Yahweh [are] twenty and four thousand, and officers and judges six thousand, ⁵ and four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Yahweh, `with instruments that I made for praising,' [said David.. ⁶ And David distributes them into courses:Of the sons of Levi:of Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

²⁷ for by the last words of David they [took] the number of the sons of Levi from a son of twenty years and upward, ²⁸ for their station [is] at the side of the sons of Aaron, for the service of the house of Yahweh, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the cleansing of every holy thing, and the work of the service of the house of Elohim, ²⁹ and for the bread of the arrangement, and for fine flour for present, and for the thin unleavened cakes, and for [the work of] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all [liquid] measure and [solid] measure;" ³⁰ and to stand, morning by morning, to give thanks, and to give praise to Yahweh, and so at evening;" ³¹ and for all the burnt-offerings--burnt-offerings to Yahweh for sabbaths, for new moons, and for appointed seasons, by number, according to the ordinance upon them continually, before Yahweh. ³² And they have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren, for the service of the house of Yahweh.

³ And David distributes them, and Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service;"

¹ {Davidic{ Do not grow hot because of evildoers; Do not be jealous over those doing iniquity.

¹ {Davidic, For Remembrance{ O Elohim, come to rescue me! O Yahweh, do hurry to my help!"

¹⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, Doing marvelous works by Himself alone,

² Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And do not forget any of His well-dealings,

⁵ Remember His marvelous works that He has done, His miracles and the judgments of His mouth,

⁴⁸ Blessed be Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, From the eon and until the eon. Then all the people will say, Amen. Praise Yah."

⁶ Over your walls, Jerusalem, I give the supervision to keepers. All the day and all the night, continually, they shall not hush reminding Yahweh. There must be no stillness for you!" ⁷ And you must not give Him stillness till He shall make ready, and till He shall establish, and till He shall constitute Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
