²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of the own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves,

²² And you shall not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination.

¹¹ But My people hearkened not to My voice; and Israel gave no heed to Me. ¹² So I let them go after the ways of their own hearts; they will go on in their own ways.

¹⁷ Ephraim, joined with idols, has laid stumbling blocks in his own way. ¹⁸ He has chosen the Canaanites: they have grievously gone a-whoring: they have loved dishonor through her insolence.

¹⁴ Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. And if the blind guides the blind, both will fall into a ditch."

⁴² But God turned away and gave them over to serve the host of heaven, just as it is written in the book of the Prophets: 'Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

¹⁶ who in the generations having gone by permitted all the Gentiles to walk in their ways.

²⁹ "Therefore, being the offspring of God, we ought not to suppose that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and the imagination of man. ³⁰ So then these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent,

²⁶ For this reason God gave them up to passions of dishonor; for even their females exchanged the natural use for that which is contrary to nature, ²⁷ and likewise also the males, having forsaken the natural use of the female, were inflamed by their lust for one another, males with males, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error. ²⁸ And just as they did not approve to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things which are not fitting;

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts, ¹³ Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both this stomach and these foods. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

¹⁸ having been darkened in understanding, being estranged from the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; ¹⁹ who, having become callous, gave themselves over to debauchery, for the working of uncleanness with utmost greediness.

⁴ that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

¹⁰ and in all deception of unrighteousness among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And because of this, God will send them strong delusion, in order for them to believe the lie, ¹² so that they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.

²⁰ Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. ²¹ Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, having been consecrated and useful to the Master, having been prepared for every good work. ²² Flee youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
