¹¹ Slay them not, lest they forget Your law; scatter them by Your power; and bring them down, O Lord, my defender.

¹² When you till the earth, then it shall not continue to give its strength to you: you shall be groaning and trembling on the earth. ¹³ And Cain said to the Lord God, My crime is too great for me to be forgiven. ¹⁴ If You cast me out this day from the face of the earth, and I shall be hidden from Your presence, and I shall be groaning and trembling upon the earth, then it will be that anyone that finds me shall kill me. ¹⁵ And the Lord God said to him, Not so, anyone that slays Cain shall suffer a seven-fold vengeance; and the Lord God set a mark upon Cain, so that no one that found him would kill him.

³³ And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.

⁹ Take heed to yourself, and keep your heart diligently: forget not any of the things, which your eyes have seen, and let them not depart from your heart all the days of your life; and you shall teach your sons and your sons' sons,

²⁷ And the Lord shall scatter you among all nations, and you shall be left few in number among all the nations, among which the Lord shall bring you.

⁶⁴ And the Lord your God shall scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone, which you knew not, nor your fathers.

³ then the Lord shall heal your iniquities, and shall pity you, and shall again gather you out from all the nations, among which the Lord has scattered you. ⁴ If your dispersion be from one end of heaven to the other, from there the Lord your God shall gather you, and from there the Lord your God shall take you.

³ But You, O Lord, are my helper; my glory, and the One that lifts up my head.

¹¹ You made us as sheep intended for food; and You scattered us among the nations.

⁵ Therefore may God destroy you forever, may He pluck you up and utterly remove you from your dwelling, and your root from the land of the living. Pause.

⁹ Behold, O God our defender, and look upon the face of Your anointed.

¹¹ For the Lord loves mercy and truth; God will give grace and glory; the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

²⁷ and to cast down their seed among the nations, and to scatter them in the countries.

⁵ For the living will know that they shall die; but the dead know nothing, and there is no longer any reward to them, for their memory is lost.

¹⁵ And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have scattered them among the nations; and I will disperse them into the countries. ¹⁶ And I will leave among them a few men in number spared from the sword, and from famine, and pestilence; that they may declare all their iniquities among the nations where they have gone; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

²² yet behold, there shall be men left in it, those that escaped, who shall lead forth of it sons and daughters — behold, they shall go forth to you, and you shall see their ways and their thoughts, and you shall mourn over the evils which I have brought upon Jerusalem, even all the evils which I have brought upon it. ²³ And they shall comfort you, because you shall see their ways and their thoughts; and you shall know that I have not done in vain all that I have done in it, says the Lord.

⁵¹ He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. ⁵² He has overthrown the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.

²¹ Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the fields enter into her.

⁶ And in those days men shall seek death, and shall by no means find it; they shall be longing to die, yet death shall elude them.
