⁴ And the Egyptians buried those that died of them, even all that the Lord struck, every firstborn in the land of Egypt; also the Lord executed vengeance on their gods.

¹² And I will go throughout the land of Egypt in that night, and I will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and on all the gods of Egypt will I execute vengeance: I am the Lord.

²⁹ And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the captive in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all cattle. ³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up by night, and his servants, and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in all the land of Egypt, for there was not a house in which there was not one dead.

¹¹ For now I know that the Lord is great above all gods, because of this, wherein they attacked them.

³⁶ He smote also every firstborn of their land, the firstfruits of all their labor.

¹ The vision of Egypt. Behold, the Lord sits on a swift cloud, and shall come to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and their hearts shall faint within them.

¹¹ The Lord shall appear against them, and shall utterly destroy all the gods of the nations of the earth; and they shall worship Him everyone from his place, even all the islands of the nations.

⁷ And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his angels, waging war with the dragon; and the dragon made war, and his angels, ⁸ and he did not prevail, nor was a place found for him any longer in heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
